First time we have hosted a Coventry side in a league fixture since 1960 and we thumped them 4 - 1.....

I think for a good few Coventry fans ...their last " visit " to Chesterfield might have been on the way back from the 1987 F A Cup Quarter Final at S6

Scary scary Saturday evening

They'd played a Cup semi final at Hillsborough.

Loads dropped off in Town afterwards, turned over a couple of pubs early doors, then when more locals began to show up it became like the fight scenes from 'Blazing Saddles'.

I see our vey own Steve Ogrozovic is on the staff at Cov, and he has now been asked by Mowbray to take responsibility for coaching better defending of set pieces.

Lets hope his first efforts fail miserably.

Scary scary Saturday evening

Eternally grateful to the blue bell bouncers that night, dragged me inside and saved me an almost certain kicking.

If they went in there and caused chaos then no one would have noticed any difference to a normal night...
