Sean Taylor @seantaylorpress
I understand @ChesterfieldFC winger Gboly Ariyibi has signed a new contract to keep him with the #spireites until the summer of 2017

I like the way that PC publicly put himself under pressure last week by saying that BA would be a 'special project' for him.
Heading, shooting, positional play, decision making, can all be improved if he listens.

He did ok when he came on as sub in an earlier home game. Composed on the ball and looking to pick a cross. Then there was the assist for Morsy v Fleetwood. Mani may be more of a "project" based on the little I have seen of both players.

If the club wants to make savings, I can suggest a place to start
It would be interesting to see how you would get better value for money than our PR and media department if you look at the range of products offered around the clock by one such a small team. The range of social media and the quality of video output is second to none!
Sometimes, as happened earlier in the week, news comes out before the agreed embargo. (Although I don't know that this is the case this time.)

And sometimes they remember to tell us about a game before it takes place, their coverage of the DSC this season was shameful - although they did actually tell us about the GNE game

Bizarre.
Town haemorrhage cash, flog off fan favourites, make costly and embarrassing cock-ups or suffer a series of set-backs and you tell us to stop complaining about nowt.
However fail to mention a relatively low-key fixture and your knickers get well and truly twisted.

have to agree
Social Media team are great - the twitter coverage from games is great for people not able to make it but unable to listen to radio (i.e. at work)
think we've found a more ridiculous moan than the mothers day meal moaning

The length of his contract certainly suggest management think so
He definitely has the raw material

So if it goes well we get a couple of good years and sell for a good price.I can't see what is wrong with that for a club at our level, especially if we come up with others on regular basis. I'd rather this than shelling out big money we don't have on someone who may not offer anymore and may not feel they owe the club anything.

What is the raisin d'être of a football club's PR dept? Letting the fans know that a game is taking place must come fairly high ip on their list of priorities and I'm very surprised to see that you seem to think otherwise

Agreed. The media team do a fantastic job...There are very few of them on it too and the coverage is brilliant. Spireite player content in particular is always fresh at the moment with regular uploads
Mothers day? What about pancake day? This can only be described as an outrage
