Well done on finding a dictionary. Could you give us some examples of my 'hypocrisy', just to show that you actually understood what it says.
Try to do a lot better than 'KITB', who struggled and failed to rise to a similar challenge.

Post #166, as I clearly stated.

You lambast Town fans for questioning CT's comments - which is all anyone's done - based on what you call 'damn all', then accuse a player who's served us well of being perennially unreliable, dishonest, refusing to sign a contract and knowing he was off to India all along.

Again all based on what you freely admit is 'damn all'.

If you're still struggling to get it, perhaps you should ask someone to read this slowly to you.

Did we offer him a contract of £500 a week early on which he refused and stayed on non contract terms, with a view on moving in the transfer window (or getting a better deal off us) - Or did we offer him £500 a week after interest in him emerged?

No numbers mentioned, pal.

I can only repeat my comments in post #164:

'According to 'Deepthroat' Rommy is a polite, hardworking and unassuming chap who's been asking CFC for something more permanent for months. Only to be repeatedly snubbed. Then January arrived and a number of foreign outfits, alongside Bradford, displayed an interest. At which point CFC suddenly started talking deals. However Rommy subsequently signed the dotted line best for him, as anyone would, which means we've lost a L1 standard player who we could've kept if a modest salary had been offered earlier.'

Just an honest version of events from someone occasionally proven correct. I genuinely don't understand why certain folk go to such obsessive lengths to rubbish stories like this. Maybe they simply can't stand the thought that others might, just perhaps, have greater insight than themselves...

1. I didn't 'lambast' town fans. I said the witch hunt which developed on here was pathetic, which it is. People were not just'questioning' CT's comments, they were effectively calling him a liar, un-professional and incompetent.

2. Whether Boco has served us well is a matter of opinion. Mine is that he's dropped PC in it by leaving unexpectedly at this time, but I then went out of my way to say he was a good player and in my opinion deserved a contract. The fact that he's unreliable was pointed up by somebody later on giving his list of clubs. He has a perfect right to move as often as he wants, as I also emphasised, but nobody would suggest from that list that he's Mr.Reliable.

3. I suggested he'd known for a while he was going to India, which he must have done, and that it may have been the reason he didn't sign a contract. I don't know that for a fact, but it doesn't seem to me too far beyond the bounds of possibility, and isn't an unreasonable conclusion.

4. Throughout all my posts I always emphasise that I don't know any more than the next man, probably less, but that I'm simply drawing my own conclusions, which anyone can dispute, from the information available.

None of that adds up to any kind of hypocrisy, the meaning of which you've failed totally to understand. All it adds up to is an opinion based on the information available. It might differ from your opinion, if you ever got round to telling us what it was, but it's honestly arrived at and I stand by it.

Now can we go back to your enlightened football reports, because trying to trip me up doesn't work and simply bores everybody else?

would you like to tell us about you reporting fishini to the moderators, after you denied doing so several times, and calling me a bare faced liar?

while your doing that, you could tell us how you define hypocrisy.

Sorry I called you a liar. Could you just remind us all again of what I actually said?
As for the fishi story, it's been told at least three times on here already, but tell us your version if you like. It should go well with the 'liar' story.
Was it 'well documented'?

I can understand town trying to get him on the cheap, if they could save a couple of grand a month on a contract then why not. Maybe Cook didn't think he was more, as he has other irons in the fire? maybe he sees the return of DT as a better use of squad finances?

Why does the Jester go to such obsessive lengths? I don't know. I think he suffers from some sort of superiority complex and its just too much for him to admit he is wrong?

Then we have something in common. I genuinely don't understand why certain people go to such obsessive lengths to rubbish the top management of CFC, and have been doing for decades.
Another thing I don't understand is why you set more credence on whisperings from an informer than the public statements of a CEO. By their very nature informants are unreliable, exaggerate to a large degree and are traitors to the organisation that employs them. "Occasionally proven correct" - I loved that bit.
I don't like to give advice to a canny old campaigner such as yourself, but if you believe 50% of what the club says and 5% of what your informant says you may not be too far out.

Dave Allen said so publicly. I presume you aren't going to accuse him of lying.

Dave Allen says in his interview after Cookie's first game that he and CT watched the Accy game, saw the way they played, and discussed getting their manager all through the game.
So not just DA's bit of solo talent-spotting, and, to be fair, not just CT's either, but a combined effort as we might have expected.
Whatever, we've got a lot to thank them for. How crucial was that Accy game to the club's future?

It appears we've reached the 'pursuing an agenda way beyond sense, circumstance and substance' part of 'h-again's' repertoire.

Though I'm still chuckling at his 'I've been known to embroider the facts slightly when entertaining an audience' comment.

Conceited obsessive or master of ironic comedy: the jury's still out.

Could someone please explain to me what on earth this poster gets off on? This is supposed to be a football fans forum for goodness sake, not a public opportunity to demonstrate that you know how to throw together a random collection of words.

Back on topic, Rommy is looking unlikely to make his debut today as his international clearance hasn't come through...

Both.

The former is some form of self-proclaimed expert in everything whilst being up for an argument based on something he has heard from somebody he describes as just "occasionally proven correct".

Whilst h has risen to the bait, after giving his assumed version of events.

Time to stop girls.

"#‎BharatFC's marquee player Romuald Bocoplayed the full 90 minutes against Dempo SC as the Lions battled out a 0-0 draw against Dempo SC in their first ever game in I-League (Official)! The King of Benin shone with his tireless running and silky footwork as he ably kept the midfield ticking"

Just listening to LR on the Chesterfield Post interview and he adds substance to what I was told by a trusted source yesterday.....

Boco accepted an initial offer of £250 per week ( yep, that's all) + match bonuses when he first arrived because he accepted that there was nowt left in the players budget and he likes playing for PC. He's been awaiting summat better as finances appear to have improved, but nothing materialized so he gave 7 days notice and went.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

First of all Boco will take some replacing - I think being in the transfer window has a big bearing on the way things have been handled. AND with Drew being on the way back AND in contract I feel the right side of the team was/is not the priority.
God I hate this league.
