No player is bigger than the club
He's let Paul Cook down
Contracts offers (plural) were made and he turned them down.
Banks as well?
I think this will be an interesting January transfer window for CFC - we need to keep our momentum going
Disappointing by Boco, especially when we are on the crest of a wave! If he had intentions to go...surely playing in a huge FA Cup match in front of 30,000...would have showcased him more!?

Yes, very strange...especially as he gave him first team football when no one else did! no doubt he has crapped a potful with Cook now.

He did well for us on the pitch and it would have been nice if something could have been sorted, but I think, on Bocos side at least, this runs a bit deeper than CFCs contract offers.

Not quite they bought a former care home with a view to turning it into flats but were refused planning permission

It is if the decision was taken in the last week or so which then confirms the financial loss to them.

The league out there is very much in its infancy and whilst some getting on a bit biggish names have gone there the majority wont be on anything like the money some of the cricketers are getting in the IPL. That said i suspect he is on more than he would get from any club, not just us, in this country.

To me he seems to be in a desperate situation re money and this is affecting his decision making.

Perhaps it's a classic Politicians trick, turn the situation on its head by going on the attack. They must have been aware there would be some disquiet if he was to leave.
I tend to think, 'we move on', same as when we lost Dyche, Mercer, Williams, K Davies, Lester, C Davies. Boco put in a shift and did well - no-one expected much when he signed on non-contract terms and he exceeded those expectations. I'd be more annoyed if we were to lose Ryan, Morsy, Doyle or Clucas to be honest.
Maybe he'll be back next season, who knows? He certainly seems to be an interesting character

Not sure there is good analogy to be had there. First season without all of Dyche, Mercer, Williams and Kevin Davies we were relegated. Same with Craig Davies.
Know what you are saying with Boco though. Just an average player, can be replaced, from within or out, I am sure.

But the club's still here (only just after Brown!!), and we're all still watching. Our time to have a fantastic side will come again (Nicky Law's side, in 2010, and now). If players don't want to play for CFC we move on. Whether they're the best player ever or average, if they feel their future lies elsewhere, ta-ta.

Totally agree
How people can condemn him when they have no idea of the value of contract(s) offered to him. The fact he would rather play non contract and work part time suggests the contract(s) weren't worth that much
They other thing I find remarkable is that when Turner states "contracts', people believe that means more than one, this guy is so loose with his tongue it could mean absolutely anything
