He rarely gave he ball away and is a good player, it was there for all to see hence the calls by many on here to offer him a contract.
And We did! Itt obviously wasn't what he wanted and he's gone, so we move on, but I really don't understand the slagging him off, because he will be a loss.....particularly as he was playing for buttons!
So it's Good luck Romy and thanks for some excellent performances from me!

You're right, he will be a loss and slagging him off is wrong as he did nothing to deserve this; having said that we don't know the circumstances and it could well be that he was being a bit sneaky in the way he went about things and this has caught up with him or he's even being greedy with the contract that was on the table. How do we know it wasn't a good offer?
The real reason could be anything, but one thing remains consistent and that's he did very well on the pitch for us and for that alone I thank him and wish him all the best, unless he’s been stealing Derby cup tickets to try are sell on the black market and has been found out hence him leaving so abruptly, and only now have we discovered the real mess it’s left us in!

Josh, if you watched Romy's performance closely you would have appreciated what a good player he is. I was sceptical when we signed (or didn't) him, but he won me over with his work ethic and skill. He tracked back continually, had good control, a great leap fir a player of his size and could pick a pass. Yes his shooting boots weren't always on but he did a great job and for me we looked a better side with him in it!
I would take Daniel Johnson over him but then again he will cost us at least twice as much...
I am surprised you are on his case as you are usually pretty well balanced with your views on players, still it's all about opinions!

Maybe I'm a bit against him because he got greedy when we were meant to be signing him at the start of last season but after agreeing terms he then asked for more money and he subsequently went to Plymouth where by all accounts he was dire. I just don't see him as anything other than a hard working wide man with a good leap. He couldn't shoot and lacked an end product, as shown by his 1 goal and 1 assist despite a lot of playing time. He did graft but did he *really* tighten up the right hand side? We've conceded plenty of goals from our right whilst he's played.
We'll see how he does now he's left. He's mainly only ever played well under Paul Cook so I doubt we'll see him making much of an impact anywhere else he goes.

My sceptical bit was because he allegedly messed us about a couple of seasons ago wanting more dosh...and we got gary roberts hurrah!
But it may be that we have messed him about this time. No contract on a pay as you play with (from memory) cookie saying we would sort him something in January. Well we have but either he wanted too much, which as he was working at Jackson's 3 days a week I doubt or we offered him peanuts! Only the club know and that's that....but purely on a playing basis I liked him!
He was in the side at the beginning of the season when we were playing out of our skin. He was then dropped and our form dipped, then he returned to the team and our form picked up.....coincidence???

Could Boco's abrupt exit from the club be to do with him topping up his part time wages by selling stolen pies and Derby County cup tickets on the sly and only now have the club caught up with the real extent of his actions

It could also explain why the shutters went down early on the concourses the other day (pie shortage)

How do you account for our flying start to the season / upturn in fortunes recently, both periods which saw boco in the team? Coincidence? Or was boco a key man in these two periods?

You generally don't attribute periods of good form to any player.....
You're very grumpy Goku at present. Are you 'on'??

Wasn't Neil Ruddock the last player to be "wanted for pie theft"? He definitely ate all of them - Romy, I think, had the getaway van...
