I actually thought Boco deserved a contract, as he has been one of our better players recently, although like many of the team he does not shoot enough, preferring to pass rather than shoot. Had a look at his career stats and he never stays anywhere long, the only constant is he keeps coming back to clubs managed by Cook. Was at Sligo rovers three time, each time leaving for money issues, and coming back, then going to Accrington when Cook went there. If he goes probably back in the summer, when it does not work out as expected elsewhere.

I'd say he, or one of his associates had picked it up from here.

That was brilliant the way he controlled the ball that came down from such a great height it had snow on it in front of the East Stand against Scunny Players like him are priceless

If Boco's mate is right, who do you think is our highest paid player on £4.5k a week?

My guess would be Evo...

I don't think he's right. On a night out I and a few other mates ended up having some drinks with the CFC management team. Numerous things were discussed and my mate asked "don't mention any names but how much is the top earner on"

3k a week was the reply....

Evo isn't as bad a shout as some might think. We got him last year, with a significant drop in wages from his former club in the first instance, but the understanding of a higher wage and large bonuses if we reached Wembley and were promoted. 3k per week last season would be a reasonable assumption.

I reckon next week could/should be interesting, Robbo out for a while, Boco seemingly gone and the thought of Richie H up against Derbys midfield. Wouldn't surprise me if we saw someone coming in.

Boco should probably have signed the favourable contract he was offered in the summer of 2013, easily the best he'd ever been offered in the UK (he was on well under a grand at Accrington), but he turned it down and ended up with a worse deal at Plymouth. The day before he signed for Plymouth he was begging Cookie to take him on, but Roberts and others had been signed by then. His subsequent tweets were far from the truth.

Not sure 'walking out' is the right term as he hasn't got a time related contract, but rest assured, his next club won't be in England.

No one's on £4500 at the Proact.

Liam Cooper has reached the appearance level at Leeds to trigger a further payment (don't know amount) and Ian Evatt has played enough games this season to trigger his deal for next season.

Cheers Phil, I think the first paragraph probably sums the situation up very well.

Well that's not good news about Evatt getting a deal for next season. Another badly negotiated contract.

I think deals with an appearance triggered option are not unusual; only three of Ian's colleagues have played more league games than the Captain so far this season.

Ok, yeah, that touch was nice. How many times did he cheaply give the ball away in the same match? He was basically mixed race Derek Niven playing on the right wing during that game. He is no great loss.

One with more than decent connections at CFC and tends to be not far from the mark.

Great touch....then gave it away and we were on the back foot just outside our own box.
