If the rumours are true concerning Boco's departure then it is a shame on the club and not your finest hour. His treatment while at the club has been shameful really. Playing for CFC and well at that, giving 100% everytime should mean he is paid enough so as not to have to take a second job. It's alight saying that there was a contract on the table, but it must have been miserly or he would have signed it. Good player IMO and will be missed

Green one from me; however it is unfair to make assumptions as we do not know what has actually happened!? Maybe he wanted a contract on level with our top earners, CT & PC thinking it isn't justified.

Saying that, shame to lose a good, solid squad player

Where did I say I don't trust PC? All I said was his and the clubs treatment of Boco was shameful. Please read the OP and try to keep up

Seconded, never seen such a small player win so many headers.

Thought he was below par on Tuesday though, mind may have been elsewhere

Hang on. We're making lots of assumptions here. He could have been debted up to the eyeballs and took the 2nd job as a necessity rather 'cos he was some sort of CFC slave.

I'm pretty sure that if Paul Cook was that bothered he'd have sorted something long ago as he's been able to walk at any time.

I am sure all the Contracts on all the Players are fairly similar in Finance, Bonuses, and Possibilities for Player or Club and yet we do not dispute Tommy Lee's, Morsy's, Armands or Doyles.

So why would Bocco's be any different. He could offer more to Bocco but then we could be in a similar position as we were with Togwell, Richards or Hird. I am sure DA & PC are well in control of the situation as they were the first time he arrived here.

I like Bocco and would love for him to settle here and play out the rest of his career as a Spirreite but not on inflated wages when PC is capable of unearthing another Jewel like Morsy, Ryan, Roberts or Doyle.

As much as I think Boco has played well in a few games this season, and as much as I think he is a good player to have on the bench or for that matter start the game (opposition depending) the above stat does speak volumes. I've said for awhile that he needs to be deliver more in the final third, be it assists or goals. I didn't realise he had such a poor return though

Boco was decent for us. Reliable and solid. But he wasn't capable of helping us to the next level so he's been rightly seen as expendable.

I wouldn't lay any of this at Paul Cooks door, it's the tight purse strings he's having to deal with

Your right Fishini. From the outside looking in he seems to have got the rough end of the stick.
He's a good player, but he's a squad player, when all is said and done a contract offer was on the table for him to sign. He'd been here since August playing for fun really and having to take a second job on to pay the bills so a contract from a league one football club has got to be better than working part time in a bakery. Let's not forget aswell that this is the very same player last season who supposedly wanted silly wages so he didn't sign then.
Maybe the thread ought to be dedicated to Boco's adviser.
Life goes on. Whatever happens.

Surley he only got himself to blame. Got to look back when he was supposed to sign when he left accy and they cudn't agree a contract so he went to Plymouth which can only be for one reason money.
I do like boco works hard does the everthing simply and wins loads in air. But got to agree with some only really a squad player.

Fair play to all concerned.

We made Boco an offer, the player thought he could do better & didn't want to be bound by a contract, he's done well & attracted interest from elsewhere.

I think that's about the long and short of it. He was decent, reliable cover and I'd imagine the terms offered reflected that. Whilst his reliability will be missed, it should leave a bit more wriggle room budget-wise. And if that means we can make a more attractive offer and keep hold of Jimmy Ryan, I doubt there'd be too many dissenting voices would there...?

He already followed it to Plymouth when he could have come here, lets not forget.

Not so sure the club have treated him badly. We haven't given him a contract, which I think he deserved, but equally we have allowed him to play, stay fit and pay him something, when nobody else appeared to want him. If he's got a contract now then it's a lot to do with town
