I thought we'd decided he couldnt go anywhere this month due to the three clubs in a season thing? As for a sell on no one really knows...some on Stagsnet think there is of varying sizes.

Clucas has done well at LB but is wasted there and jones is wasted on the bench.
May time for Armand to sit on the bench and put clucas with doyle up top and jones at the back

Personally I think weve looked a lot more threatening the last few games with two up top. I think Doyle likes someone to feed off and share the burden and Armand is a decent physical presence. I think Clucas and Doyle up front would be too similar but would have nothing against resting Roberts for one game (looked like he got a knock last night and we need him ready for Derby) and putting Clucas on left wing.

Seeing as we are talking about the three clubs in a season thing here it is in action. Hatem Ben Arfa played one u21 game for Newcastle before being shipped out to hull on loan. That deal is canned after the player fell out with Steve Bruce then his contract at Newcastle is cancelled by mutual consent. He agrees a deal with Nice as the English fa said the u21 game wasn't an official game but FIFA have decided differently so said he can't sign for Nice. Basically leaves in limbo as he was a free agent after leaving Newcastle and can't sign for anyone!!

I thought we'd decided that as he'd played for Mansfield already this season he couldn't play for anyone else and wouldn't be going anywhere?

Loans don't count, so loan to the end of the season followed by an agreed transfer as soon as the next window opens. No probs. the sooner the stupid FIFA regs get their come uppance in court the better

It seems to be only emergency loans that don't count so that wouldn't work.

So whilst he's on loan he breaks his fetlock and is out for a year, what then?.simply won't happen..maybe that touchy hack who sneaks a peek on here can impart his wisdom!

Not in England, ask rotherham's biggest signing who has left them on loan to join his third club of the season

What are the odds the player will sign a permanent deal in the summer

Clubs nowadays have this new fangled thing called insurance to cover such eventualities

Reading could buy him and loan him back to us until the end of the season. It won't happen though. The amount of rumours circling around any of our players who hit some sort of good form is ridiculous this year. Clucas is here to stay and we'd be mad to sell while his stock is still rising fast; he'll be worth more in July than he is now.

I thought sometimes the premiums were so large and the ins and outs so numerous that maybe they didn't.
