Mr. Consistent. Were it not for some other outstanding performances from Mr. Raglan etc., then I'm sure there would have been a few more MOM's from Sam Clucas.
As has been pointed out elsewhere, he's paid for his fee already.
The guy is quality!

Same as you say.
At left back he was having a hell of a game, it was getting increasingly more obvious that Boco was running on empty (bless him) so it was the only solution to bring Jones on. The rest is history so to speak.
Tbh I felt tonight that the ball just wasn't running for us, although we made some good chances tonight it just highlights my point that when Doyle was put through in the first half he lost his footing, didn't get a clean shot away and yet still forced the keeper into a save.

Huge credit for the energy levels for all the players over that period

I wonder how many of the 16 scouts that were there tonight have added him to the list of 'ones to watch' to their notepads?

Don't mean to come across as a c..ock mate ..but most improved? He's been nothing short of excellent since he signed!
On the same topic that idiot Cox wanted sacking for not playing Clucas on its own! How the hell couldn't he get a game for them?

they also seem to have made a complete bollux, several years ago, of realizing the potential of Derby's Jake Buxton, whom Armand will make mince meat of in the next round.

Thought he was a bit raw, overwhelmed, made the wrong decisions at times, and too direct, due to the mismanagement at his previous employer! And yes he is far better now than when he first came here!

Likewise. How many times did a clever ball just fail to get through? When you're playing a short passing game inches are vital, and tonight we were just that tiny fraction out - until Doyle found the inch perfect cross.
