COVENTRY CITY PREPARE TO GET SHAFTED AWAY END PARKING 10 POUNDS NO CONCESSION EITHER FOR DISABLED :angry

Dave, give them a ring, disabled parking is normally available in Car Park A for Blue Badge Holders at £5 when its £10 for non blue badge holders.

Ignore the fact it is not showing online, you can normally book over the phone.

Worth a try.

The state they are in financially you would think otherwise.

Tesco and the other shops on the retail park trying to stop folk parking in there...not the football club.

car parking is a rip off wherever, was at MK Dons an all (very convenient mind)

would have thought Cov should provide disabled parking close to the ground though, and at a discount

All car parking was £2.50 for the London Wasps games apparently (according to a mate who went)

Booked mine in Car Park 2, 15 minutes walk. Cost £1.50 and official Car Park.

Car Park Car Park 2, Wayside Business Park
Event Coventry City v Chesterfield (28th December 2014)

wasn't me who posted the link!

£10 is a rip off, hope you find a cheaper alternative

I would call it discrimination if you can park at official car parks for £2.50 which are obviously too far away for someone who is in a wheelchair yet the disabled parking is a tenner!

That just seems very wrong to me, if official parking is available for £2.50 then disabled parking should be available for at the most that price as well

After reading about the epic Crawley trip you did recently I'd have thought a little trek from a car park would be easy?

I thought blue badge holders could park anywhere? Excuse my ignorance if I'm wrong but I've heard they can. Just stick it on the kerb outside the ground if that's the case

I'm surprised that the Car Park Operator insists on charging a tenner, at all the forthcoming Wasps games the abled and disabled parking on site is a fiver, so would expect the cheapest you would be likely to get it for would be a fiver.

If you take a helper in with you they get in for free, so if they pay the extra £5 for the parking not a bad deal for them and you?

No clamping Dave surely, thought that was illegal these days?

Police may lift your car though if causing an obstruction or danger!

Went there for a women's international (Olympics) On parking on the street (no restrictions)some chancer wearing a high viz vest told us that we "couldn't park there" and we should park on what appeared to be some communal grass and give him a tenner for the privilege. Plenty of susceptible folk feel for it. My mate whose car it was told him to get stuffed, took a photo of him on his phone and told him in a tough Glaswegian accent that if the car was damaged "he'd be found"

Beware

There are other places near the ground to park.

Alternatively park in town where there ate pubs and things and get a bus / taxi out to the gas works.

11k at the Richo isnt a big crowd though they have had oasis, coldplay, Elton John and others play there. Its geared up for it. Park in Tesco go in buy a chicken or something and show your receipt on way out.

If they win on Saturday it could be more like 15,000 there.
