Had Lester been prepared to move around to chase the money he may well have played in the top flight. he certainly spent a long time in the championship. Doyle has not played at that level yet, and IMO does not have the same level of close control and composure that Lester had.
As an "asset" Doyle will be worth more as a striker in his mid 20`s that lester was in his early/middle 30`s.
