It's the Rotherham threads with no relation to us that annoy folk generally I think. Yours isn't that.
On Brindley - yeah, decent enough player. Not sure about Championship though.

One was very complimentary about Tendayi then less so about us in the space of about two sentences!

They get £4m in the championship and have finally found a stadium sponsor so they should be ok to make a splurge to stay up and net another £4m next season.

But if they don't?..the natives are already getting restless at Jabbas multi buy , multi player system, and it seems they're floundering somewhat. Spending big with large squads with a bit of quality will usually get you out of the bottom leagues but at Championship level you need people in charge who know what they're doing..

Was told Saturday that Blubber Boy has circulated the names of several players with a view to loans.
A high turnover of players - many leaving amidst uncomplimentary epithets - is what his career seems to be based upon.
Fine when a Chairman's prepared to commit financial suicide, but he'd be like a fish up a tree at a properly run outfit.

I'd go along with that. Tendayi has been excellent, if his crossing improved he'd be ready to step up (in fact he probably is now)

The only step up for any player we have is to go up a division. Playing at Barnsley would be a shuffle sideways

He's at it again....deadline approaching and the revolving door is spinning! One out so far to Bury whilst picking up one from Man U and one from Leicester on loan to come in! Rumour has it the Owls were after the Man U lad as well so expect some rubbish about how they fought them off etc...

It's always been a trait of his, if one lot doesn't succeed chuck more money at trying different players, he seems to be getting more desperate though with Rotherham's current league position, will It all end in tears again? Chris was right further up the thread, if he actually had to manage at a club with sensible levels of funding and constraint he'd be buggered!

Something i've mentioned on another thread as well....someone mentioned him as a proven manager and i questioned it. Yes he's had success but only with clubs getting considerable more backing for the level they were at where he had the freedom to get through players galore without any questions. Its like a real life game of "Championship Manager"!!
