    Allotment - proper tasting veg!

The last 10 games should help club and fans arrive on the same page. We never were going to be promotion candidates. The squad is, and remains, unbalanced. A realistic expectation was lower mid-table to mid-table. The job is to get 50 to 55 points and CFC is well on its way. Looking to the next few games its a bit confusing - Paul Cook keeps talking about re-balancing the squad. Mr. Tooley said he expected comings and goings in the week just gone. I'd say we need minor surgery to achieve our objective. To aspire for anything higher will require immediate and major emergency surgery. So, better to undertake minor change, and not to take any further risks with CFC's already stretched finances.

He's becoming more and more like the old RPL day by day. Perfect timing too when he can't hit a barn door in the league.

I reckon we should put ticket prices up to solve it.

I doubt many thought we would be promotion candidates. I certainly didn't. 16th place is going to be about where we are, and for our first season in L1 that's OK.
A new hope.

It's a thought but the BBC had CFC with the most expensive prices already? No doubt prices will go up above inflation in future years, and no doubts CFC will look to restrict concessions. The council could usefully drop its loan or at least the interest there on.

Yes, a platform to build on. I'd say we're looking a 5 years. Why 5 years - time for the youth to come through

I didn't before we'd kicked a ball primarily due to the lack of pre season signings but then we started to play the beautiful football we did and I will be honest I got really carried away and thought we could make the play offs....

After 40 years you would think I would know better but unfortunately I have had a reality check and mid table mediocrity would be fine by me.....I just can't take a relegation struggle though!

It would be even worse this time mate. Last time it was from the first match. God forbid this time at the end of September we were promotion material....

5 years if your waiting for the youth policy to deliver the quality players to add to the squad.

I`d be looking to get Banks out on loan for a month to get the lad some game time and get him up to speed.

Out of interest, which players would you want to move on in your major surgery scenario?

A new hope.

That's a tough question tbh.

Having thought about it:-

Talbot
Darikwa
Humphrys
O'Shea
Hird (I'm a fan but needs must)(Hope we can keep Georg + see Raglan continue his development)
Morsy (Asset Sale)

After your forced break from the board I thought you would come back eventually but as a slightly changed character. However the only thing that seems of have changed is your sex.

Me and my old man find it odd that so many board members still appear to be phased by the former poster to whom you refer. Would appreciate your views on the football question posed.

But the evidence is mounting, same language style (asset sale for example what woman uses these phrases when associated with football?), same targets within the team (O'Shea, Talbot, Darikwa, Humphreys), same obsession with money.

Oh and not forgetting the repeated starting of multiple threads on the same subject matter!!!!

Can you actually clarify that you are a woman or some sick individual, previously banned from this board, as a man, trying to hoodwink decent folk into your being a new persona...Mods sort this out..this idiot is even posting as a woman on a thread about a rapist..this is wrong!

Indeed, little wonder I don't post on here much these days, he has returned it seems even more twisted than before.

The posting on a thread about a convicted rapist whilst appearing to be a woman is sick..if dotty com is a female completely without connection to RPL and she proves this I will gladly issue a full apology to her face, on this board and also gift £100 to Ashgate hospice and £100 to a women's charity of her choice...I await either her reply or a mods reply..this is wrong..
