Bbc are doing another final score thing on the Sunday, so could still be a bit of extra money there.

Happy to be corrected, and look forward to confirmation one way or another. I am right that we wore all white aren't I though?

The game was played on sand and a bloke from Temple Normanton ran on and scored tho only goal Albert Mays was Man of the Match

Thought it might be tenuously be described as a local derby - until I found out they are 90 odd miles away from each other. Similar to us and MK!

I thought the same and it appears it isnt although in terms of rivals Colchester fans cant seem to make up their minds!! This is from the Colchester Utd wikipedia page...

The 2003 Football Fans Census revealed that Colchester United fans considered Wycombe Wanderers to be their primary rival, with both Wycombe and Southend United considering the U's to be their primary rival. Colchester fans considered Ipswich Town to be their secondary rivals, with Southend only third. Cambridge United additionally considered Colchester to be their tertiary rivals.[62] However, in the 2012–13 census, Colchester fans changed their chief rivals from Wycombe to Southend, with Wycombe falling to second and Ipswich to third. Ipswich Town fans also named Colchester United as their third rivals after Norwich City and West Ham United. The U's remained primary choice for both Southend and Wycombe fans. United were also ranked as the 12th least offensive club to the supporters of all other Football League clubs.[63]

Colchester's main recent rivalry is with fellow Essex side Southend United, with whom they contest the Essex derby. The competitive head-to-head record is 29 wins to Southend, 25 wins for Colchester and 17 draws.[64] The most recent result ended in a 2–0 victory for the U's on 8 February 2010.[65]

Dont get any relevance to Wycombe being rivals...its 100miles away!

Not really, ours has a little more character with sloped roofs and nice frontage.

So it has 4 similar sized stands with open corners, that is about as far as the similarities extend. Would you rather have disproportionate sides like Walsall, Crewe, even Bradford?

More importantly ours isn't in the middle of god knows where? Unlike Colchester, Shrewsbury, MK Dongs and another dozen new builds

I'm a tad surprised at you

Aldershot 1 v 0 Portsmouth

Westcarr looking total rubbish and I'm wondering when this much lauded Wallace is going to actually do something

What a stoater of a winning goal that was

Will our resident Pimpey fans be on tonight?

Not won in the FA cup since beating spurs in the 2010 semi final. It hardly came as a surprise to lose to might either. Were awful on the road.

Not as modern looking as ours, but I can see why non CFC supporters may think they look similar.
