Oh come on, we like it when things are good but we all love a good moan though don't we??
I'll be interested to see how we come back on Saturday. Doyle needs a goal, looked like a schoolboy out there tonight, ran around a lot but physically no match for the men he was playing against.

Or. Wake up and smell the coffee. Three defeats in a row, one win in nine games. In a game that is a lot about confidence, there is some severe rebuilding to do. Not an easy task from where we all are sitting at the moment.

I feel sorry for Doyle, if we don't get some reinforcements in for him soon then we're going to burn him out with all the minutes he's playing and then we are in trouble. Teams have sniffed out our over reliance on him and are now marking him out of games which is blunting our bite.

If its so easy to mark key players out of games, then why couldnt we do it with Tom Bradshaw and tonight with Nathan Byrne?

Because our defence couldn't mark a blade of grass on the pitch out of a game they are that poor!

Clucas looked like a schoolkid out there and continually wasted possession. I was amazed he wasn't subbed

Because our defence seemingly don't have the pace to keep them shackled. Colchester exploited our lack of pace at the back and we paid for it whilst Okuonghae bullied Doyle out of the game with a superb performance. Walsall exploited our lack of pace as their goalscorer got a yard on the back four, Swindon tonight exploited our lack of pace whilst their centre halfs had the strength and pace to keep Doyle quiet. The right defenders are more than capable of nullifying a striker if they know how they work. This league will be full of centre forwards with pace to burn and we need to adapt to counter them.

You don't say. It was a rhetorical question.

Seriously What I saw tonight worries me we need some depth in this squad to many players dont have a challenger for their place and we never and I mean never looked like scoring that tonight was relegation form. Now I am not saying we cant pick it up but something needs to change.
