Well Mr Cook if that's what tinkering with tactics and dropping our best player does they you can shove your tinkering up your ****
Seriously I had enough of that when we had Sheridan here to last me a lifetime!
On another note... You can spot a decent player I'll give you that... Gobern looks a decent signing and regarding what many have said I could see him sitting in alongside Morsy and being a better partnership that the Ryan/ Morsy one; but he's only here for a month (so with your reckoning, there's no point playing him in anymore games as he's not our future!
Plus regardless whether he makes a better long term partner for Morsy or not, the holding midfielders are the least of our worries! Sort the friggin defence out because embarrassing doesn’t even come close!!!

I was thinking this during the game...why split up possibly the best midfield partnership in League 1!?
I am positive that this whole Johnson thing & not playing him has affected the team moral

Nathan Byrne was the best player we have seen for a long time at the ProAct. I see Danny Wilson was there tonight. I am sure he will be saying its simple. Just run at them. They have absolutely no pace whatsoever at the back. It wasn't crosses that undid us tonight, just pure bad defending and defensive cover. Plus a referee.

Could well be (something’s gone off there and there's more to this one than what has been said).
Also, as decent as the new lad looks, it's a bit unfair of Cook to put all the weight on these young lads’ shoulders now we are playing without heart. PC's brought him into shore up the goals we concede, but now our team spirits been destroyed, to expect this from the lad coming into a new set up is totally unfair.
One last thing... As much as I love Johnson, I will be glad when he's gone as our team spirit is going to take some repairing and it's not going to happen whilst he's here (not that it's his fault, probably not anyhow); but Cook won't start him Saturday (trust me on this one) otherwise he'd have started him tonight, so it's best for all now that he goes back (gutted to see him go and I wish him all the best in the future and will follow the course of his career with great interest).
As Ollie Hardy would say... You've gotten us into a right ol' mess there

Talk me through where Gobern is a decent loan signing? He wasn't at the races all night. Not fit. Constantly caught wrong side of the ball. He was brought in to add steel and bolster the defence. See scoreline to determine if iitworked. The way they played round him on the lead ip to the third was embarrassing.

Name me one Chesterfield player (and you had a full quota of fourteen to choose from) that was at the races tonight?

He looked ok for 20 minutes then went AWOL
Why didn't he go off instead of Ryan is even more of a mystery than why he was signed in the first place

Supposed to be a tough tackling ball winner to protect the defence. Someone's been had.

I asked you about Gobern seeing that Cook can spot a player. He was woeful pal. To be honest it's not really his fault that the manager is picking an unfit loanee with a lack of matches whilst breaking up the best central midfield pairing we've had for years. His job is to protect our paceless centre halfs . He didn't get close. Worst I've seen Morsy play tonight too. Jones and Darikwa only players to cone out of that with any credit. Jones steady. Tendayi covered for centre halfs several times and baled them out big time.

I thought it was Sammy's worse game he's had for us and he very nearly lost it first half. He was very lucky also not to be sent off tonight as he should have been booked for kicking out at one of their players when the game was not even five minutes old, so his yellow should have been a second booking.
Tendayi possibly (and that's really saying something!)

Frustratingly both fullbacks never both seem to have decent games at the same time. Darikwa was back on form tonight and Jones goes and throws in an absolute stinker.

You watch a different game to me as he looked the part until the first goal went in then all the team just dropped to bits and I did say IF he had time to settle here there were signs he could become a better bet than Ryan as he needs games, but a month’s loan isn’t going to give this (at least we agree on Morsy, lol, though in fairness he did keep going and regained his composure, but he wasn't great)

Why do we not close down players when we don't have the ball?
Why does our defence defend so high up the pitch?
Why do teams find it so easy to run through the heart of our midfield/defence without a single tackle?
Why is the best player at the club not starting games?
We have one recognised striker....why o why?
