Chesterfield 4 Chelsea 0, three up very early and then eased off. Liam Sutcliffe not too happy as the team failed to reach their normal standard. The Chelsea outfit was a development squad that came up from Devon, appears they have development outreach all over the place. They were poor. Attendance of 181.

Glad the real CFC asserted themselves. I bet this game won't exist as far as Chelsea are concerned!

The left back stood out. Small but lightning quick and goes past players like a winger. Must have gone past half their team in one second half run.

What about the run in the first half when he left 3 chelsea players in one heap when they all missed him and he got the cross in!!

A very impressive team performance. Both our full backs were very fast and amazingly skilful. I was really impressed by the cohesion, work rate, and attitude of the whole team, but especially by the way they all got on with the game without moaning and whingeing either at each other or the officials. Judging by what I saw today, the Club is in very good hands, and our youngsters are being taught to play the game the right way.

They are not 'our' youngsters Soph. Every one of them is free to sign for any club that makes them the best offer.

Yes that's true, but they were wearing our shirts and being coached (presumably) by our coaching staff.

Tafadzwa "Taff" Mumbanya (from Leeds) is the left back he was outstanding, he should be offered a contract today

Ah, thanks. My definitions arn't quite right then, assuming MW is a full time pro. Does MW play both for the Youth team and the Development team then?. How did he do?.

Does 'should' mean he is going to be offered one, or in your view 'we should do it?' (genuine question, not a dig)
If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything.
