The burning question is =
Why was Roberts in the team on Saturday if was not 100% fit and why bring him on if he was not fully fit?

Roberts out for 2 weeks.

2 home games coming up.

Johnson needs to start both now and that's confirmed it. Please PC, I know you want to cope after Johnsons gone but he's here now so play him whilst he's here starting tomorrow!

Yet to win this season when Roberts hasn't started. Hopefully all to change tomorrow.

It actually beggars belief

Hopefully one of the interviewers has the guts to ask that very simple question

With Roberts being the highest wage earner we should get him on the pitch as much as possible but truth be known he has not been fully fit since he signed on

Here's our offering.

http://www.peakfm.co...n-town-preview/

I'm off for 3 days after today so you've got JC in the studio with Farries and Hirdy in the commentary box.

Sam is well on the mend now so tomorrow night will be his last stint in the commentary box for us.

We're on from 7.

Tom

A huge concern of mine is that we have no strikers to bring on from the bench, surely we should be looking to bring someone in on loan to cover this area! We have Carl Lamb who is unproven and is not even making the bench even though he is one of the two strikers at the club.

I think we are all wondering the same. I can't fathom it all.

I think its safe to conclude if Johnson doesnt start the next 2 home games theres more to it than 'preparing for life after him' and 'trying to give squad players game time'.

By the sound of cooks interview it seems like he says with roberts being out it gives him no choice but to play Johnson.

Not sure why he worded it like that as for me Johnson should be one of the first names on the sheet regardless of whether Roberts plays or not.

But i am sure we will find out tomorrow. Lets hope for the same formation/lineup thats served us well previously.

What's the point in having a quality loan player like Johnson just to leave him on the bench.
To say he needs to see how we will do without him is ridiculed by bringing in and playing a lesser quality loan player.
He should play every game until he returns, few as that may be.

And he sounds like he will be playing the new lad and Gardner so possibly no Ryan

Back to the 'usual' formation then? It means no place for Goburn presumably if so.

Play your strongest/best team every week.

At the moment that should include Johnson until his loan expires.
