I was on shef u Kop with my bro the year Bruno scored. I nearly burst a blood vessel keeping my mouth shut at that moment it must have been obvious who I supported. Didn't get slapped or anything! I feel that 99.9% of their fans are quite civil. Can't see any trouble on the horizon.

an old workmate of mine did the same he was a leeds fan and was befriended by a blade they got on well he sed until sheff utd went 2up and the fan asked him why he wasent celebrating the goals (are you leeds in disguise) he laughed so wen tony sed yeh all hell broke loose and he had to run on pitch for his own safety after receiving a black eye...so I be keeping well aware.

It's bloodie 2014 man. There's about as much chance of seeing trouble on Saturday as there is Blackpool been promoted this season. We've had bigger games than this recently and theres never been more than a few kids pumped up on iron brew thinking theyre Danny Dyer! Just because a few blades have bought tickets in our end doesnt been they will be a full blown riot, much to the Derbyshire Times disappointment.

There'll be posturing and gesturing in abundance in that area of the ground. Thats what passes for crowd trouble theses days.

Might be enough to get a banning order if you participate too actively

Meanwhile everyone else will be in the bogs snorting coke, sharing spliffs and setting light to each other

Sheff United fans buying tickets in the home end comes as no surprise to me at all....

If we can't fill our own allocation with our own fans for a game against a well established English Club (also local) with one of the best sides we've had in years performing absolutely brilliantly, its pretty embarrassing actually.

We were exactly the same for the Mansfield game....We complained so much because of our allocation and all the empty seats in their end (A lot of our supporters ended up going in their end too remember). It is EXACTLY the same situation for Sheff United. They go in their at their own risk and the clever ones will keep their mouths shut I'm sure.

And with regards to the level of security for the game - it's laughable. Any level-headed Sheff United fan will honestly see us in a similar way to which we see Alfreton/Matlock - I suppose that's a bit big-headed on their part, but completely honest.

Also remember a Boxing Day, mid eighties, on the Saltergate kop. Major battle ensued about halfway through first half after danny Wilson scored a 25yrd free kick in the cross street end!

Wasnt too bothered about this lot until I read twitter and various other forums last night, they think they are something else and we are disgrace for not giving them the whole ground and there is loads in home end going to takeover whatever they want. Really hope we batter em now!!

Arrogance is unreal for a side so massive they are a only a point above us!

come on Town!!!

The group I went with consisted of a couple of Blunts, a couple of Town, and a few who just went for the day out.

It was summat like ten bob cheaper on the home end, so...

Funnily enough I went with a few blades from boza

Used to buy 2 every week but stopped because of the way situations were reported.

What do we reckon then? 250 blades in E1/2? That's too many together for them to feel vulnerable enough to keep quiet isn't it?

Powder keg I think.

That's the concern. Odd ones would likely keep quiet. If they think they'll be backed up they're much more likely to make it clear who they support.

It'll only take one Town fan to take a swing and it will go off.

Why is there all this talk of trouble? Wasn't any last time, was there? (Apart from that plank in the kop who got a pat on the head before making an early exit).

We can identify how many blunts are in our ends by the empty seats after the 4th goal goes in or people leaving early
Personally it doesn't bother me, if town fans don't buy the tickets then sell them to someone willing to pay
Have passport will travel

I recall their fans being really quiet last time we played them at Home. We were playing crap so we weren't much louder. I expect the atmosphere to be pretty spicy this time around though as both teams are doing well.
If only....
