I was on shef u Kop with my bro the year Bruno scored. I nearly burst a blood vessel keeping my mouth shut at that moment it must have been obvious who I supported. Didn't get slapped or anything! I feel that 99.9% of their fans are quite civil. Can't see any trouble on the horizon.

You too?

There were a group of us, and whilst it was murder not reacting when Town scored it was worth every penny when a Blunt, clearly oblivious to who I supported, turned and launched into a tirade about just how sh*te his side were.

It took every ounce of self control not to burst into guffaws of laughter at the irony as I agreed wholeheartedly with every word.

We maintained that same self control walking back to our cars, then when out of earshot of grumpy Blunts let loose a long, loud 'YEEEEESSSSS!!!'.

I once sold 100 town lottery tickets on shore ham, not one of them realised (or won  ) ( and before you ask I was there to watch birchy who was playing for Barnsley at the time - Barnsley won easily, very amusing night out)

I was in the away end with all the blues - magnificent day that was.

Why would you go in the Blunts end instead of the away end though?

Meanwhile, any Sheffield United fans who have purchased tickets for areas of the stadium reserved for home fans are warned that they face being ejected.
Stewards will be looking out for any Blades supporters who are seated in home areas. Any who are found to be in the wrong area will be escorted from the stadium.

Good. Nasty 'Blaaades' tats on the neck, sovereign rings and stonewash jeans will make it an easy job. Anyone requesting a pint of Wards too should be a goner.

The group I went with consisted of a couple of Blunts, a couple of Town, and a few who just went for the day out.

It was summat like ten bob cheaper on the home end, so...

Same here the ripping off of away fans clinched it for us

An interesting time on their kop one Tuesday night in '72 a bladesman staggering down the gangeway in the centre of the kop, holding the side of his head and screaming barstewards in his other hand was part of his ear, the opposition that night, Millwall

That's going to be interesting then. Sounds like a few have been bought up in home areas by all accounts. Will wait with interest in the East Stand to see what happens.

The problem is that it doesn't take much. They score, a few celebrate - punches are thrown and next thing it could all be going off.

To start the day off well, where can I get a decent full English near to the ground without coming out stinking of grease?

Phyll's Grill? Moor Food and it'll be in a cob and referred to as a 'Monster'? That cafe on Brim Road?

Do they do an 'all you can eat' at the Lock-keeper (not been) up to a certain time?
