Good read that. In all honesty I thought Scunny were poor last season and they're no better this. As the writer says we are a team continuing to evolve and improve.

"By this time, we were taking wrong turns as we attempted to get out of the hell-hole that was Chesterfield town centre on a match day as we made our way home some £50 lighter – sombre mood in tow."

How rude.

There is a certain irony in that but perhaps he was talking one way systems?

He probably would be frustrated if he was in the town centre on the way back to a Scunthorpe  l

I'd be frustrated if I was going back to my home in Scunthorpe.

I can only assume he means the traffic - because if any town has a "hell hole" for a "town centre", Scunthorpe would be up there.
A new hope.

Can't work out why anybody going back to Scunthorpe from the Proact would go anywhere near the town centre as it's in the opposite direction

Scunthorpe is a slightly larger version of Alfreton so think that comment is slightly rich

Makes you wonder doesn't it....surely if they've driven in they would have come from junction 30 unless they don't live that way....does happen I suppose...look at our support and the various areas of the country they come from....
