Would you sell one of our star players to find a move for a striker? If so what player would you sell?

And more on a serious nowt could this be the only way to bring in a striker and would cook get all the money?
It's not sticking!!!

If Cook would get all the money, Cooper. Otherwise, what's the point.

No, we go with what we have and dip into the lone market if required. I still think we will sign a striker irrespective of what has been said.

I don't think we have a player we could make the necessary cash out of

Just going through the motions. Strikers cost money as DA has just realised.

 Surely selling a "star player" to gain a striker is like "robbing Peter to pay Paul".Increasing the clubs revenue is the answer. The club will get the season ticket sales they're after if they demonstrate some ambition.

Exactly. We can't go silly on spending in our situation, that's why I always thought the Higdon deal was a silly one; though having said that, I can't see what DA is trying to achieve from all this?? We are in the selling game (income) and if the product is poor and not to the consumers satisfaction then the sales will be much lower than. To achieve satisfactory sales we only needed to establish ourselves as a league one club, so a little investment maybe would have gone along way with the paying public. I personally would have thought a season flirting in and around the relegation places will see any investment overtaken by loss of income. Having said that we could have invested lightly or heavily and we still could have been near the bottom of the league, though you'd have thought with PC's good ratio of bringing in good players this would have been far less likely to have been the case.
