Just think about it Roberts, Morsy, Ryan, Oshea, are they going to happy just playing to survive? They can all play at a decent level will they settle for mediocre? Their development will be much less. Cutting the good feel factor will effect crowds, player recruitment, permanent signings.
We need to start bucket collections to make sure things don't get worse!

and presumably all playing with their enhanced contracts for getting promotion, so they may not be overly down hearted for next year at least.

They are good pro's and I am sure that they will give of their best but will they stay if any club in a more forward thinking position comes in will they go. We get the monet but back to ordinary football.
I still can't work it out. If money is tight why did we extend contracts and basically conning the players, rather than selling.

I'd estimate the promotion bonus increases were nothing like the 20% banded about on here, and probably more like 5%.

The players will have the perfromance related incentives this season, too. Win/Goal/Clean Sheets etc.

I have a couple of buckets in the garage they can have...probably need them to bail out the sinking ship:)
