Be a tad careful in Lincoln buddy, they have a penchant for thumping people in that particular rural back water.

Try the ones at the top of the hill near the cathedral, VERY welcoming, they may even escort you back down, engage you in charming banter and invite you to "have a dance" well worth the experience, just empty your bladder first.........

What is it with folk in Lincoln? Is there so little to do that they cause trouble at a friendly against Doncaster?

To be fair I've never had any trouble at Lincoln, although the graffiti near the ground that used to say 'Lincoln kick to kill' and 'Lincoln use golf balls' was a bit unnerving!

I have fond memories of being escorted back to a special train after a game, walking on the path by the dyke with bricks flying from behind walls on the opposite side of the ditch with mr plod doing nothing about it - until one of them got hit
