Decent bloke from what little I know of the fella. Don't envy his task though, will be interesting to see if he can move it away from the CFSS in control at all costs standpoint of the previous incumbent.
I believe this chap will have the interests of the club at heart rather than CFSS which should be a refreshing change. PS It does raise a smile whenever I use the word incumbent, I always think of Big Al getting upset cos he thought he was being insulted. Not exactly Brain of Britain material. -------------------- Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!

you were threatened with lawyers if i remember correctly! Nice bloke but like Tooley, hardly likely to pay and stand on the kop with the FANS and give a good repsresntation of what fans want, also his shop is next to Dema so has conflicting interests, if CFSS are to represent the fans then it needs paying fans on the board and as chairman who know the cost of watching poor football week in and week out. |

May I suggest a very unhealthy situation now exists for CFSS as both Acting Chairman & Vice Chairman sit on the CFC Board.
Totally laughable. |

May I suggest a very unhealthy situation now exists for CFSS as both Acting Chairman & Vice Chairman sit on the CFC Board. Totally laughable. in reality, its been that way since the council came on side regarding the move. hubbard saw the light in the tunnel, the way for the club to self finance AND pay the debts off, something unlikely without outside investment while the club stays at saltergate. hubbard told CFSS in no uncertain terms HE, not THEY, were in total control of the move. from that point onwards, CFSS ceased to have any relevance. its a shame really, the goodwill and support from the fans, certainly since the hurst goal(following season highest gates for 25 years), has been allowed to slowly dissipate back down to the usual 3000 hardcore. -------------------- If you all hate wednesday clap your hands

Not exactly next to Dema. And I'm sure that place makes quite enough without a football match 25 times a year. |

Fact is he's had a shop there for years,a small paper shop, now he runs a Spar, some people just run there mouths off without engaging there brains, not meaning you West Bars. -------------------- DEMA REBORN...THE FINAL COUNTDOWN...

I know we've had a few poor home games, but surely it's not as bad as Strangeways is it? More like Rampton. Insanity will soon be an essential requirement.... -------------------- "and a pair of those Geoff Mitchell glasses, please."
