Crap but interesting? Alfreton are an awkward bunch

Loving the long throws, they seem to cause more chaos than any other set piece, but general quality has been crap. Even Walsall haven’t put any passes together.

Not seen one player who would make our bench.

Further proof if we need it, that strengthen in a couple of key areas and we can keep an upward momentum going.

Alfreton needed Tom Denton coming on for the last 20 minutes

So the advertising hoardings claim that Impact are Alfreton’s principle partner. I wonder which principles they share?
These go to eleven.

Looks like Tschimanga still struggling to make any sort of impact at Fleetwood.

Maybe the move to Peterborough was some sort of blessing for us at the time, as it looks likely that the lad will probably end up back in this league next season.

I actually believe that the standard of football in the NL is better than most teams play in league one & two.

You obviously never watched the Woking game.

You would have thought that for national tv they might check the spelling.
Shocking.

Yep.
We managed to sell Del Trotter's van with a Porche badge stuck on the bonnet.
Like yourself, I think he'll eventually end back in NL - maybe via L2
He's had his chances in a higher division and done nowt

Well done reds but it was a poor game, if walsall are L2 we should be pushing for promotion again next season. Their standard of football is terrible but were unlucky to have that early goal disallowed.

He was never all that was he, played above average for 6 months then got too big for his boots, he was ok but he’s no Joe Quigley, he wouldn’t even get on the bench now anyway, Ilkeston Town is about his level.

Didn't we just about manage to get our money back? Excluding the wages he was paid of course. Hardly like we had anyone's pants down...
We're on our way

Not sure you can judge league 2 and a promotion push by Walsall…they are 19th and haven’t won in a while or scored many recently let alone that tripe tonight.

I watched bits of this alongside the Luton - Arsenal game and it was up there with the worst quality games I've ever seen at any level. Walsall would struggle in our division.

You're right. Terrible quality.
Personally I enjoyed it for the cup tie it was - wouldn't want to watch it week in week out

It was just awful, it was lump it and see what you could pick up from both sides. Not sure any TV company will be rushing to show the replay for another potential 120mins of it!
