Anyone else taking in this game. Not sure what sort of team we will send. Long Eatons form is not good, only won 2 in last 27.

The Official Site has improved massively in recent times.
However, why no mention or publicity about this fixture. Presumably an Academy based side will feature but it is of interest to me as it is probably 40 minutes away, at a ground I've not been to. Is the pitch playable?
(Disappointingly there was no mention on the main site of our (ignominious) defeat to Boldmere St Michaels (are they a real team?) in the FA Youth Cup.)

Just spoken to their Commercial Manager. Very nice man. He said the pitch was 'very wet' this morning and promised to let me know later if the match is going ahead.

Pitch inspection for that one at 3pm i think it is, pitch very wet apparently.

Sounds like a school team dunnit . Now when we played Manchester United in the final of that competition back in the day with Banks in goal for us and Charlton playing for them ...............
