It was mooted on Saturday that the new ST prices were to be announced today. Anyone heard anything.
God I hate this league.

Probably a planned April-Fools, but then thought better of it?

On a serious note though - There's normally been an announcement by the club, by now (past seasons announcements).

There must be a slight delay, for some reason.

My guess would be, they will freeze the prices (same as this seasons?)

My guess is same as this season.

Whilst I think its too much for this level I like many will renew.

I appreciate every club needs as much revenue as possible, however as a goodwill gesture the season ticket should include the pre season friendlies and/or the FA Trophy home rounds.

So if you are reading Graham/Lesley could you influence this? ....... A bit of a concession to our loyalty would be much appreciated.

Might not be in our interests to have lots of season ticket holders IF we have a good season

True but its a BIG IF !! A decent number of season ticket sales should help establish a playing staff budget early doors.

Regardless I personally feel miffed at having to pay and secure the seat I have had since moving for non event matches, so the cost of throwing these in should be included in the season ticket.

Best of both worlds , lots of season ticket holders and as many walk ups , thats IF Carlsberg did CFC

Whilst MA's positive PR probably shifted a thousand more than we would've done I reckon if folk bought 'em after everything that'd happened last year they're not gonna baulk at a few extra quid this year.

I agree with others, though: if the owner's as good as his word I can see a genuine promotion challenge next season so having more pay-on-the-day punters will benefit the balance sheet.

Not had one since we moved to the new ground but I am optimistic about next season and would be tempted if the off the field situation is a bit clearer and they don’t commit suicide by upping the prices. After the season we’ve had that would be a proper two fingers up to the fans who have stuck by the team through everything

And that is my view - the support this season despite everything has been better than could have been predicted. And it has been a real crap season to be a fan again - for most of the season anyway. Given the apparent issues with Zebra finance, which might stop a few buying anyway, a price rise could put a few more off.... And IF the promotion push doesnt materialise - and lets be honest, DA could take his bat and ball home again at any time, Shez could get poached, whatever... - and then the black hole reappears wider than ever.

Its a marathon not a sprint and short term increases often result in longer term decreases.

There isn't a case for a price increase and I'd expect them to be pegged. Its DAs round again ..

Assuming the club are serious about a promotion push and Graham Bean is confident we will be competing at the top end of the table next season then I think it would make sense for there to be no increase in the price of a season ticket and increase matchday admission prices.

If they are confident of a promotion push, they don’t need to increase prices at all, the stay aways will return and boost revenue...

As long as they get their sums right and don’t pay out more in win bonuses than the extra revenue...

I have a suspicion there will also be an announcement about away tickets for next season as well for the hopeful times where demand exceeds supply, especially after GBs comments in the Sutton programme

a decrease in the number of ST's that don't work on day 1. My suggestion would be that Graham Bean asks Coe to get off his ass and try each one at the right turnstile before they distribute 'em.

I predict a riot!

<and probably most people moaning, would be just as quick to moan should the club freeze the prices and then state they couldn't spend on players to form a decent team!>

Just as a quick comparison i found Wrexhams prices for this season and them they are all £50 cheaper in comparable areas, the £50 ours have gone up by, so be interesting to see what they will charge for next season.
