Left hand sided midfield, which we have missed badly since Roberts and Clucas left. Plymouth were supposed to be getting him on loan but maybe Caldwell's Wigan connection could swing it for us!

Lets Hope their is some mileage in this one....

Yes, but he hadn't evolved at all. There are many players who were stealing a living in the Prem over the years and Chico Flores was perhaps the biggest fraud of them all.

10 minutes of football this season? Fits the bill for a town signing, either injury prone or not kicked a competitive ball in anger all season so miles short of league match fitness. Before anyone starts I'm not slating the player.

Interestingly he has a red card from last season, for kicking a player whilst playing against Oldham.

Agree that we need a couple of new faces but also important if the likes of Jones, Mcginn and Martinez can get back up to speed...been out that long they will feel like new signings. Martinez is a big if but we've seen enough of Jones and Mcginn to know that when fit they will vastly improve the side.

All I've heard from the club is that it's one in, one out and that we're up against the salary cap and so I can only assume that we'll see a maximum of 2 coming in, unless of course the incoming players are on much lower wages than Liddle and O'Shea.

Where did the "allowed to bring in extra numbers" statement come from?
