Yeah just hearing this rumour. Would be gutted! He’s been superb, great work-rate, skill, superb passer, scores great goals, he’s been an absolute revolution since he joined us from Lincoln in January where he couldn’t get a game, probably because he can really play football. We would not have gone up without him, he’s been that important. You’ve got a diamond if he joins you, but hopefully he’ll stick with us as we’ve reignited his career and all footballers are loyal aren’t they?
All is good thanks, well it was until I heard this rumour!

Lincoln City manager Chris Moyses said he was disappointed Jon Nolan rarely showed his full potential.

More pleasingly, this suggests that we might be returning to a sensible transfer policy of chasing up-and-coming players with potential (eg Ryan, Cooper, Morsy and Clucas, and arguably Banks, Raglan and Gardner when they first arrived) instead of has-beens from higher up the leagues (eg SEB, Herd). I know noises have been made by Danny to the effect that this is how he'd do transfer business but it's good to see he's already walking the walk with the signing of Dennis.

That'd be Chris Moyses who couldn't get Lincoln out of the Conference/National League would it? I'll take his advice on players with a whole salt mine thanks!

I'm guessing he means revelation not revolution.

I prefer to call it 'The Clucas Scenario'.
Attract young talent from smaller and/or lower outfits, allow them to progress both themselves and CFC, then capitalise when the time is right.
Preferably not as part of some bewildering losses inspired fire sale in future, though...
