What we were told today about Banks belittles your statement he actually did more than Morsy in the game vs Hull in the after match analysis.....

Irrelevant.

It's starting to feel like making the play offs last season was the worst thing we could do....advertised a number of good players at a smaller unfashionable club that could be picked off.

Look, we have to ignore what we are reading on the net until Xerves and Beelzebub confirm it is so. Until then, we are in danger of going blind, or some such similar affliction.

Good. We can now move on and get the replacements in. Good for the lad as he's moving to a local (to him) club, we have been an excellent career move for him and thus can only encourage others to come here. Pity it looks like MT have a sell on but at least they will have to pass some on to Hereford! If the sell on is 15% of profit we will have paid over 200k for him in total which will make him our second costliest buy ever and in the top two biggest sales.

Gboly is fine for me. Banks in the middle of the pitch is an absolute car-crash & an invitation to be beaten.

Not sure on his defensive duties mind
A new hope.

Why would they have to pass some on to Hereford?

Why would any sell-on be included in what we were paid for him? We paid £90k.

Stay positive folks!! It reminds me of the Southampton saga before the start of last season, and they turned out fine! We'll be ok 👌

Mansfield do not have to pay any money to Hereford.
Any sell on due was paid when we purchased Clucas from the Stags

The sell on Hereford had was for a percentage of any fee received by Mansfield, if that fee is increased by any sell on the sum paid to Hereford also increases. ATM the percentage Hereford received was based on MTFC receiving 70k, if MTFC now receive another 130k Hereford receive the same percentage as they received from the original sale, which I believe was a tribunal set 20%. Of course the situation is complicated by the liquidation of the company that ran Hereford United, I would assume the sell on will pass to the liquidators for the benefit of the creditors.

Says who?

Can you cite any other examples of this happening?

Regardless of what Mansfield have to pay Hereford how's our own squad building for the promotion push going?
