His deal has to be extended until the end of the season. His place in the side is absolutely settled now.

My understanding is that because it's a three month loan he has to go back to Villa when it's over, early December?, and can't be re signed until the Jan window, by which time I expect Championship clubs to be requesting a loan!

The guy is an absolute pleasure to watch and is growing game by game.

This is by far the most consistent and enjoyable football i have seen CFC playing during my 18 years as a season ticket holder and he is a massive part of that.

Agreed......but alas very unlikely. ...he is head and shoulders above this league...I expect he will turn out for a championship side after his loan here is done...or at worst villa's bench.......

all we are saying, is give us ...a goal, or 2+

Sadly i think he will be gone after his loan is up but he is a great little footballer

He will have the same adoration as what McDermott had after what he brought to Chesterfield back then.......I think Johnson seems to have a good head on his shoulders...we play his type of football & that won't be missed on Lambert...we will have brought him on as a better player
Just imagine IF we signed him!!??

I watched him closely today....what a strong intelligent footballer he is......IF it had been Johnson instead of Clucas when we had that run on the defence, Johnson would have picked out Doyle.........Clucas panicked a bit (not criticising him, as he has moved up a level from ****field)
