Desperate times call for desperate measures. Football aside my first thought is at least he should feel he has something to prove.

Personally think he'll be a good signing. 93 days will take us to 11th December (probably wrong, it's early) which will be the day after wycombe away. If this does go ahead, do you think we'll leave it a couple of weeks before we sign somebody else to cover us up until the January transfer window opens?

There is no doubt this time, Clarke is definitely a striker

I'll double check but my owls supporting brother and a mate always suggested Clarke was decent but a little frustrating. I think he will have a lot to prove and it could be a decent signing.

I was being sarcastic. We have had a couple of wingers signed recently masquerading as strikers but they don't come any more of an out and out striker as Clarke.

He'll give us a presence up front but at 35 and not the most prolific record will we need another striker to partner him?

I've been informed by my Wednesday friend that she'd have him back in a shot above all their other forwards. Also some ridiculous song that rhymes 'Jordan's baby' and 'gravy'.

35 what? He's not that age or anywhere close. Ten too many I think.

Noticed he played for Oldham on loan while Sheridan was there in 2007. So he hopefully knows what he's all about.

Just been informed this rumour is 100% true.

What's also rumoured is that Town are financing the deal by selling the rights for the first bust-up between JS and Clarke to Sky Ringside, whilst seats nearest the dugout have doubled in price due to demand from fight fans.
Never underestimate the stupidity of people

Don't let him know he has to come in for a run tomorrow.
