From back to front every player had a stinker,a disjointed defence,a midfield that created sod all and couldn't string two passes together....how many times did we give the ball away?and forwards that couldn't smack a cows bottom with a banjo on the night, i am livid...where was the passion?teams know that if they come at us on the counter attack we wilt and roll over.....and don't anyone say it's just two bad games,it isn't we've not played well at home for what seems an age!!!!GET IT SORTED JOHN SHERIDAN!....there ..rant over!!

Watching us being bullied in midfield makes me think we need a way of getting Mattis back there.

And why no Page starting if he was injured?

jack hunt, no better than picken (at least he would have jumped for the cross), he's getting targeted more and more by the opposition as he's definately a weak link.

NOTE to whittaker WE PLAY IN BLUE.

also rant over.
all we are saying, is give us ...a goal, or 2+

They've cost me a good few quid by losing but also saved me a bit as I was so disgruntled by the end that I couldn't face the pub after.

Win some, lose some. (lost more mind)

Putting Mattis into midfield obviously means he isnt in defence and tonight showed how much we need him there

Gregor messed up badly for their goal, heading it weakly to their onrushing midfielder. Didn't do too bad overall but I still don't think he should've played CB.

We were shocking 2nd half tonight. We missed Niven.

Why oh why thought did he put Davies out wide though?
Why did he go 3-3-4 with Boden as the centre mid?
why do we fricken persist with short corners?

rant over

He didn't really do much wrong - OK, his header landed at their attacker's feet in the build up to there goal but that was another second-ball we didn't win, just like we weren't battling all night. The second goal was simply bizarre, sometimes our defence just melts away when faced with people running at them into the area

And when Page came on Gregor did more on the left in those few minutes than Morris seemed to do all night

It's just so frustrating. There are some real conundrums out there at the moment....Davies is scoring for fun but sometimes seems incapable of controlling the ball, Whittaker has a great brain and a clean-strike but simply could not find a blue-shirt with short passes today (he was most at fault for the first goal by finding the ref instead of our player), the defence sometimes look so composed on the ball but for all their tippy-tapping about nothing was being created. you could tear your hair out
flat-pack my ar se

We looked very poor everywhere tonight. No cohesion at all about our play. Makeshift defence looked very suspect. If not for Tommy we could have lost by 4 or 5..

For the next league game, we should have Mattis, Morgan and Niven back. That's three players from tonights team out of the team. Have faith. Tonight looked very makeshift.

I agree that he did he best and wasn't awful but don't think he should have been there.

Struggling to think of a positive.

Worryingly as soon as the second half started we all agreed that we were likely to lose.

So clueless were we that Sheridan's only option was to load up the top with attacking players but ultimately it didn't help.

Why was Davies out wide? Of course he's been a matchwinner but in a side struggling to get involved he ends up a selfish, luxury player. Glad in a way it's only the cup on Saturday as we need to reassess and quickly.

But isn't that worrying in itself murray, that we have a couple of injuries/suspensions and we turn from a table topping team to one that rollsover to a team that had lost their previous 5 games?

Note to Lomax, you are allowed to pass the ball to other players and not only Whittaker.

i asked the same question about davies and thinking about it now. It just seems everytime he went for the ball he was making the run out wide.

Boden and Bowery came on and didnt do a thing.

CB required in Jan! We need a battler/bosser in midfield - Mattis back there please! Why Gregor at CB? It wasn't fair on the lad - does it not trust Pagey that much??
Hunt had a shocker. But then, so did everybody after the first 15 minutes! We were cruising, then we just started dallying on the ball and allowed ourselves to be bullied - it was garbage.
