Yes , in general seen some good stuff on our travels compared to home form. The fans played there part today and deserved something better than that second half performance.

2 wins in our last 10 away games suggest not.

I was just considering it was the most away wins we have ever achieved in a season.

I was just saying that our fantastic travelling fans have been well served by a record season. It is the home form, particularly against the "lesser" teams, that has let us down.

Agreed.
What do you think of our chances for promotion for the remainder of the season Pete? and would you like to see LR in charge next season?

Maybe so but its still not been that great compared to others. 2 wins in the last 10 shows how good Rico is.

Ha ha ha, lets see if he dare say something against the manager. Not that it matters we all know what the chairman thinks of his opinion.

I was critical after the Grimsby game and I have also disagreed with some of his selections and been bewildered by one or two.
I expected us to finish third and believe we have under-performed. I think that Lee has over complicated things at times. However his work on restructuring the backroom organisation has threatened to drag us into this century.
On the assumption that we finish eighth, I would probaly make a decision on his position at the end of November.

That's my position as well.
With hindsight though, and being generous gauging the number of points we have thrown away, it would still have been a struggle to accumulate enough for 3rd position.
A review of his position at the end of November will of course only arise if the new Mr Big has already endorsed him.

Essentially it could be another wasted season.
And that's assuming we have a Board willing to take decisive action. Going on past form, i think we're far more likely to hear more excuses or even absolutely nothing.
My hope is that we have the new owners in place long before then and they make a totally fresh start. Either that or Hubbard stands by his comments about only promotion being good enough.

A November review...hmmm.
How would we have to be doing to relieve him of his position in November? Lower, mid table? Do we have to wait til things are 'bad', before we get a new manager?
How about if we are under achieving again by November, say in a similar position to now? Would we replace a manager when the argument could be that he could still take us up? I dont think so.
Possibly too much of a 'lets see what happens' attitude, when we could be far more proactive...
Im beginning to think that we need a big sweep...

If we dont go up via the play offs Rico should be sacked imo.
What will waiting til November of next season prove?
We were at the topl in November this season - that didnt stop him blowing promotion!

Waiting until November would also be outside a transfer period - meaning a new mananger couldn't bring in his own players (other than loanees) until January.
Why would that be a good idea?
