Good on Boreham Wood for putting this out there.

I think it's fair to say that they are less than impressed!

Fascinating insight.

I know Boreham Wood are not popular on the non-league scene but good luck to them on this one.
These go to eleven.

I’m right behind Boreham Wood on this, greedy agents who think they can ride roughshod over clubs by getting them regular moves just to get further commission.
Need to name and shame badly behaved agents

The disappointing thing about the article is they haven't named him, but I suppose it may have done enough to scare him off as he knows this will be next

Maybe advised by solicitors not to name. Just shows that football attracts a lot of shysters, and we've had a few here too.

It's a 25yr old nobody trying to act like he's representing Lionel Messi by playing hard ball with a non-league side. Boreham Wood are very rightly putting him in his place. Hopefully this teaches the little *** a lesson.

If Watford get £50M for Richarlison then they should automatically be put in charge of Brexit negotiations.

(Saw this earlier on twitter-brilliant)

Good on Borehamwood, hope they name and shame him.

Hang on, surely AFC Wimbledon wouldn’t be involved in this agents actions to get a better deal? I mean they are everyone’s second team and would never do anything to harm another club!

The agent sounds like an idiot, but we will never know the full story, I bet a lot of footballs inner workings would disgust most of us

35k activates transfer clause yet any sell on is negotiable which is a little vague seeing as they refused AFC wombles 25% sell on offer

My thoughts exactly. Boreham Wood could refuse to agree the sell-on, rendering the 35k bid moot. Still, it's good to see what they have done on this one- it may stop some agents trying it on and thinking they can get away with it.

Fair credit to the lad. Takes guts to do that. I hope it all works out for him.

Agents starting out, particularly young ones, who might not know the industry always seem to want to make an impression on their first deal.

As if putting down a marker will fast-track them into a high profile agency or make them the next Jorge Mendes.

This agent sounds like a clown who got delusions of grandeur the moment he became accredited. Hats off to the player for sacking him and the club for how they dealt with it.

I'm certain that even though his wings have been clipped, this agent may struggle to find another client quickly.

Someone somewhere on Twitter was saying it was an experienced agent and apparently naming them, but I know no more than that.

Boreham Wood and other clubs took advantage of the dire financial straits in which Dagenham and Redbridge found itself last season. He was doing his job professionally and successfully at Dagenham. Boreham Wood got a real bargain when breaking their transfer record. (I'd have loved US to zoom in on Ferrier when we so desperately needed another goal scorer ....... as he'd collected England C caps under Paul Fairclough, who is a good judge of character and would have been unlikely to have associated with a wrong 'un.)

If Tranmere really wanted Ferrier, like us, they had every chance last season.

Truth is Boreham Wood are over-achieving on gates of 600 under an excellent young manager, who I'd have liked to see at Chesterfield ...... before he renewed his contract there and we came up with Mr Allen. I hope Morgan Ferrier does well for them and does eventually move to a bigger, richer EFL club, but a couple of off-days against us wouldn't go amiss.

Morgan Ferrier is rightly ambitious, but his new agent seems to have been over-ambitious and self-defeating. He's young, hope he learns his lesson. Football agents don't have to be nice people. Isn't Tony Blair's son one?

Brilliantly written apology that.

Well played, young man.
