Why does everyone have to leave us in a hurry. At the club 5 years, leaving in 12 days. And why does the accompanying statement ALWAYS have to be so BAD?

He's leaving in a hurry. Do we conclude his fingers were found in a cookie jar, or the centre forward's shorts?

Has he got a better job elsewhere? If so give us a clue!

Did he fail to TAKE CARE once too often?

Whatever happens we always, always manage to look as though we have no idea what is happening from one day to the next. And one man always seems to feature in the announcement offering his thanks - maybe he should put them in a perfume bottle!

someone told us at one of the England under 17s games that they had heard that Mark could be heading for the Millers. We said it would be aweful if he did has he's done a good job here.I hope they keep hold of Migquel. Good to see him warming up the subs the other night. Good luck Mark for the future and thanks.

I mean it’s not as if an I T bod with a passing interest in coaching would be allowed to run the set up is it. Nothing so unprofessional would happen at CFC. We’re a well run club that doesn’t make mistakes.

Turner gets moved out of PV without explanation just before the FA announce that the verdict is imminent.
CFC fail to respond publicly despite having received the verdict, presumably requiring 24 hours to find a solicitor who will explain to them how to blame somebody in a statement without committing libel.
Mark Smith's departure complete with inadequate explanation is announced.

As I understand it the Football League will give their Academy funding for this season and then thats it

Unless we win promotion of course

Depends if Dave Allen or anybody else wants to fund the academy. However, it is certainly not a stable role in the current football climate. Done a very good job in the academy and I am sure a football league side will look to appoint him in some capacity.
