Bobs Board Head to Head Prediction League Rules


Each round will consist of 10 games from Premier league, Championship, League 1, League 2, Scots Prem, Non League or random special games. Weekend games may be over Saturdays and Sundays and there may be some midweek predictions during the season

Each person will need to predict the score for both teams in the games identified each week and identify 2 games as bankers which will score double points. Newly introduced this year will be some bonus rounds, more details on these when I introduce a bonus round

Predictions will need to be submitted before each game kicks off. Any submissions after a game has kicked off will not be accepted. Predictions can be changed any time prior to that game kicking off but please use this ethically.
Head to heads will be published at the same time as the fixtures.
Scores will be added up and the results posted on Bobs board after the completion of each round of fixtures.
If one person scores more points than the other then they will win 3 points and the loser will get 0 points, if both people are level they will get 1 point each.
A league table will be posted on the board after each round of fixtures. The first league table will be posted after the third game is completed

The table will be determined by the team with the highest number of points from the head to head games. If players are level on points then places will be determined by prediction points scored. If the prediction scores are level the place in the table will be determined by the head to head of both players

Scoring
There are 10 games to predict
Correct score for both teams 3 points
Correct result but not correct scores 1 point
Incorrect result 0 points
Identified Bankers for 2 games will score double points
There will be 1 bonus point awarded to the person or persons who get the highest prediction score each week.

If you feel I have added up your score incorrectly, please post on the results thread and I will check and amend if required, or clarify.


I will be looking for 42 entrants where there will be 3 divisions of 14 teams with each person playing each other once giving a total of 13 games. At the end of 13 games the bottom 2 teams will be relegated and the top 2 teams promoted, therefore keeping interest for everyone at all times. There will be 3 different competitions(39 games) throughout the season.

If any more people wish to enter they will go in a waiting list. If a player does not predict for 3 consecutive games they may be withdrawn form the league and replaced by a new entrant who will take their place or if sufficient demand a 4th Division will be set up. If there are no replacement players then each opponent will get a walkover(a guaranteed win).
Players who have played previously will retain their league position providing they confirm they wish to continue by 5pm on Sunday 29th July, if they do not confirm entrance their place will be taken by the person next in the league positions. This will allow me tome to do the fixtures and put out the first round of predictions for games kicking off on 4th August.

I am pleased to announce that a local company have kindly agreed to sponsor the Head to Head prediction League.

Therefore the official title of this years leagues will be
National Windscreens Division 1
National Windscreens Division 2
National Windscreens Division 3

The sponsorship means that there will be cash prizes to be won in each division for champions and the runner up

The exact amounts for each are not life changing but represent financial recognition for your involvement in the competition and will be confirmed when the final structure and number of players are confirmed.

You have got to be in it to win it!!

Hopefully this will add a little more spice to the competition
