England Possible To Be Fined For Chants

It has been revealed that the English fans under investigation were believed to have chanting 'No Surrender to the IRA' throughout.”
Surely that can’t be deemed as discriminatory ?
That’d put about 50% of football chants in a discriminatory category

It's apparently OK for Croatia to play their WW2 Nazi National Anthem.

You didn't study history at school? "The Independent State of Croatia" was a WW2 Nazi puppet state. They committed shocking atrocities, particularly against Serbs. When Yugoslavia broke up, Croatia adopted the WW2 Fascist flag and national anthem.

Didn't study history at school? Yes. Have analysed your reply and yes your post is correct. Now then our down south/ cockney Sparra friend. How many of the lads and lassies on here do you think have been taught about the balkens, Yugoslavia , Croatia etc etc in our days at secondary school ? We were taught about the world wars, the tudors and stuff like that. Now please forgive me, if you will but nip down to your local southern team stadium and shout that team on. Obviously us thick frigs up north don't know our ****..

He really doesn’t does he.
The odd thing was that the person who held Yugoslavia together for decades was Tito, a Croat and an ex-partisan who led the fight against the Nazis.
Shades of grey, but you are correct, Croats generally supported the Nazis

Are you amongst the dozen or so dumbos who were singing that irrelevant song when we were sinking like a stone at the end of last season, then complained that nobody joined in

Seriously, I was quite aware of the Balkan history discussed here, though I learnt it after leaving school in Town.
Shame a few idiot England 'fans' are still so bone-headed.
I'm in Kiev and despite a few calls to boycott the tournament, the Croats have made themselves popular here by shouting pro-Ukraine slogans, which has gone down like a shitsandwich in Russia. Seems pretty daft that any of them feel the need to use nationalist slogans at all, whilst FIFA's heavy fines for obscuring sponsors' slogans says it all about their own priorities.

Wtf are you on about ?
There was little enough to sing about last year - never mind singing about something that irrelevant to Chesterfield FC.
When would mention of the IRA be ever made in a Town song ?
.... And just because I've got big ears you don't need to call me Dumbo.
