With most of our best players now sold, and a possibility of some more to go.It should be a very interesting time watching the front door at the Proact stadium,Dean Saunders did say the other clubs where he was manager were in a crisis, well I got news for you you joined another one.I will back you Dean, hope you can bring in some quality players ASAP.Get the feeling the foundations are about to crumble,to many sold in my opinion.Good luck Mr Saunders hope you can get thing's sorted, you certainly have had the rug pulled from under you.Right back to the proact carpark, wonder who is going or coming today.

Really????? Almost £3m in transfers....money going back into DS kitty for new players. I'm sure when the replacements start coming in people will start feeling different.

It appears the revolving door is only allowing departures so I wouldn't waste too much time...

Hope your right about the new players coming in,just so frustrated with all the goings on at the club at the moment.

We are bound to be weaker in reality. If we were bringing in players of better quality than those that have left then we would in theory have to pay more to get them.
We need some "names" that we have all heard of to lift the spirits and a few better young and string improvers we might again come good with.

With 4 or 5 additions we will be ok but we won't reach the heights of last season.

Right back is a big worry now as Talbot might be a waste of a wage again.

If and its a big if Talbot stays fit then the position is clearly his but worry is now he cant cover left and right back and we need cover for both Ok theres Humpreys but how many games could we realistically get out of him. Central midfield isnt covered in my opinion and if which I believe is about to happen Morsy goes we are up the proverbial creek. My belief in Saunders isnt the issue the destruction of the team is, ok patience and back the team I know but I have just about had enough of the way the club is been run yes they need to control the debt but selling ALL the crown jewels at once?

Well, there's one thing that's clear is that no-one in their right mind will be laying all the blame at Saunders feet "if" this season goes south.
You can't take a bricklayers tools off him, ask him to build a wall then sack him because it's a bit wobbly

It's not the despair. I can take the despair. It's the hope I can't stand.

The biggest "sell" of DS, was to ignore his relegation record, due to the fact that he hadn't had a chance, other than at Donny, to work with a side, pre season.
Fair enough.
Now this side he has worked with, pre season, doesn't exist.
Unless he can pull a few rabbits out of a few hats, through very little fault of his own, I cannot see his "record" changing.

So, uncle Dave, how does this fit in with your big scheme to increase attendances?
Are we to perennially "Yo Yo" between the bottom two tiers?

Don't get that theory.
Just as a random example. Lawrie Wilson is a bludddy good RB who might be available for maybe £1k a week more than we paid Tendayi. So over 2 years that's £100k out of the Tendayi fee.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

The more time passes, the more the DS appointment makes sense

Not really sure about that.

I'm sure he new he was going to lose 4 or 5 players before he took the job. If he didn't he should have read this message board rather than listening to Turner and Allen

So he didn't know exactly who and how much he had to play with but he knew two of them very early on

It is his choice (hopefully) to wait this late, if it goes wrong he only has himself to blame

If he had read this message board first then he would probably have phoned Samaritans.

No sure we need names. Everytime we've done that they've generally failed to live up to expectation - Roberts excepted. Quality footballers every time - doesn't always equate to a 'name'

Agreed, the likes of

Donal McDermott
Jamie Ohara
Spammy Clingan
Campbell Ryce

These were nobody's when they first came to the club and there have been many more.
I'd be more than happy for us to sign quality youngsters who have the hunger and desire to succeed rather than a name who has been there done it but has he the hunger to do it again.

And there must be a fair few out there that we can entice to the football club.
