If you had actually read my original post you would have seen I suggested a nominal cost to cover expenses! Still they are charging too much for a pre season practice match!

If you want free football watch Brampton rovers, if you want a professional club YOU have to contribute to the running costs. The choice is yours.

No, you're being a tightwad, not prepared to pay your way. I bet you're always the last to buy a round when you go out with your mates..

£12 to watch us play a team whose last competitive game was in the premiership is very reasonable. We need to make money wherever we can and £12 is certainly no rip off to watch two full first teams play a friendly, particularly when you consider Hull will not have come here for free.

If you don't like our pricing structure why not try a visit to one of our local rivals, what's Wednesday's cheapest ticket for the Bristol City game, £52? Or perhaps you fancy some of our away friendlies, or perhaps not as we were charged a fiver a time to watch our youth team at Clipstone and Hallam

It seems the 'Beelzebub/Xerxes' clone has abandoned any pretence of rational debate and is intent on becoming 'If Carlsberg Made Chairmen II'.

Totally irrelevant. I suppose you'd want us following Bradford City's ST pricing structure as well? We have to fund our team out of finances we raise, we all have to play our part and moaning about paying £12 to watch a first team friendly against a top team is hardly playing your part

No point in playing home PSFs if they don't make money, play away and get a fee from the home club, same as we will be paying Hull and Burnley. We need to fund a competitive league one team and maximise income. People are very quick to criticise the clubs finances and equally as quick to criticise when they charge for the product. Any logic in that?

Hull and Burnley both agreed to come for free provided they got one of our players.
