Based on what? (Yr last statement)

based on that position being the one with the fewest variables that you have to get right to be sure you have a good player. I'm banking on Beesley doing the job (joke).

good old Dychey, keep pushing the bids up and we may get a decent fee like we did for Clucas.

Just been reading the PNE forum. To say they are frustrated by thus would e a big understatement. They were saying we were originally asking 300k which they eventually met but that we put the price up once Burnley expressed an interest. I doubt that we will ever know the fee but I suspect it will be somewhere between that figure and the 750k that was rumoured earlier today.

£300k would have been an insult....if we haven't got double that then questions need asking!

Q unannounced fee....

I don't know which is the lower number: The number of players in our squad vs The number of Mansfield Town fans

Good luck to him though, hope it works out for him.

I came on here to discuss a potential signing, so I don't really understand some of this hostility.

On returning to our forum…happily, not only have I seen the hypocrisy regarding Grayson talking about Darikwa, when your own lot on here have confirmed you did it with Sam Clucas, but the hypocrisy regarding the Evatt incident is just staggering, given that a Bury keeper was smacked at your place a few years back.

Enjoy L1

You don't "understand the hostility" are you thick or just nieve?

You come on here representing a team that beat us in the play offs using tactics that at best could be classed as dubious (only bradfuk were worse) you choose an antagonistic user name, you defend the actions of your fans post match by proclaiming it was only one, when quite clearly the number was into double figures, your club try to brush the incident under the carpet without an apology and finally you think it cute to ask about one of our players while actually trying to rub our noses in it

Enjoy your season being the lowest ranked Lancashire club in your short foray in the championship.

Darikwa played football, while Lowton was more intent on playing a 'physical' game and abandoned his usual attacking right back play. I said after the game that I was surprised at Lowton's approach, as every time I've seen him play for Villa previously he's looked like a proper footballer. The thing is, he's not really big enough to go throwing his weight around and if he keeps doing so he'll just keep getting injured on a regular basis.
It's a pity really, as I looked forward to seeing him play (He lives local to me) but I was disappointed in his performance tbh. Yes, Darikwa looked the better player on the day.

He certainly did. Tendayi and Morsy best players on the pitch and Mani wasn't far behind then when he came on (was really impressed with him).

I'm more down about this than the Clucas transfer. TD saved us more times than I remember with goal line clearances and last ditch challenges. Can't blame anyone for this - he's deserved his chance, hope he grabs it with both hands.
Here we go again!

Ten a penny right backs. We may even get one that can actually deliver a cross. Hope TD does well and hope their fans dont get frustrated with his final ball. Personally i think he might struggle and get loaned out, but it may also just be the catalyst for him to step his game up to where it needs to be, and has the potential to be.
