Let's take 500k plus sell on plus player in exchange. Plus we have got Talbot as cover. Then again I forgot he is injured Again.

Why does anyone put in a transfer request now-days? What are agents for?

Often it is only about internal factors when such things become public.

Rot. He's been tapped up and knows he can get paid a lot more elsewhere. It's about dosh not your ideas of the merits or otherwise of his team mates

Tapped up? What evidence have you got for his being approached contrary to FL rules?

Or more likely a simple case or a player and his agent doing the usual.

Tendayi is at least a £1 million player, if we get less then someone needs their head looking at. Even more so after Liverpool were considering a lot more before Darikwa had his naughty moment

We're in a difficult situation now, either we accept something that no one is going to like, eg 300K, and try to help DS build his squad or we keep a player for a year and lose him for free next summer...

Players value change, like most things in life.

A player is only worth what someone is prepared to pay for him.

Mmmm, wonder how this came into the public domain? Is his agent trying to put pressure on or is the club inviting offers? The more interest we can stir up the higher the price.

I think he will prove to gave played his last game for us tonight

The agent will have got wind of a bid that CT considers inadequate. People need to back CT on this. We can't let sodding agents dictate.

His agent will know what's available elsewhere even if it's not within the remit of being officially tapped up. The good thing about a transfer request is it means he loses his cut of the deal.

Realistically this means one of two things. The first is that the Club has turned down an offer that is not sufficient for CFC but where the player wants to sign. This means CT is not accepting just any offers for our players. The second is that the player wants a better contract from the Club than he has been offered to re-sign. This means that CT is not offering silly money to a talented player albeit one where there is some cover.

I'd go with option 'a' without much hesitation!

He should go really, his career will stagnate here, he should be in the championship, realistically he's the best of the in demand players and that includes the ones who've already gone, £1m player.

But if no one is offering a third of that figure are we better holding him to his last year? Or perhaps his transfer request will mean some club offers a more realistic figure.

When asked by on player about how important it is to keep the likes Darikwa, Saunders completely swerved the question

Said to my lad during the first half that Tendayi seemed to be playing like he wanted to impress someone, how little did I know.
