Now two games scheduled for Saturday 25th, will the Retford game be cancelled or will we play two games in one day as we did twice last year with Alfreton/Sheffield Club and Lincoln/Belper? Ideally they'd make the Retford game an eveing kick off so I could get to both

I emailed the media department over a week ago asking them to confirm this list but they haven't replied yet

I emailed the club asking about the Coventry Sphinx game and received this reply

I have today spoken to our club secretary, youth team manager and Football Development School co-ordinator – and none of them have any knowledge of this match. I have also tried to contact Coventry Sphinx to enquire with them, but have not been able to get a response there either.

The only other person I can speak to about this fixture is the chief executive, but unfortunately he has been in a meeting all afternoon and I have not been able to speak with him.

If I find out anything further about this match then I will get in touch with you.

So the game looks dubious at best.

An 11 day gap certainly gives room for a trip to Ireland, failing that it has freed up the Tuesday for another home game. I imagine we'll find out very soon. The change has certainly scuppered my arrangements!

The game at Coventry Sphinx has been cancelled. It seems it was set up by Gerry Carr but nobody else knew anything about it so once he left it was doomed.
