Twitter is rife with rumours. One which seems to keep coming up is his decorum and the way he speaks to his staff. Alan biggs has seconded it saying its what he has been hearing recently. If that's the case then it could just be an apology and a way back. Depending on what has been said and done.

If and of course it’s a big IF, it never ends well, in any walk of life, if management treat any staff poorly. But, and I could be shot down here, could it be a watershed moment if he does go, based on those rumours?

Says to me it's A) bad, and B) backed up by some pretty strong evidence.

No way back from here for me.

The rumour mill isn't pretty either

It says to me that:

- he needs to be out of the way whilst the investigation takes place - that may mean he could be able to affect evidence or it may mean that the person doing the investigating doesnt want the manager in the way every time he talks to someone....

- they wont know the evidence until investigation complete

- he is high profile and not being at work would start tongues wagging, so just be honest......

Its easy in the PC world we live in to say something that offends someone, which they complain about. If its anything that could be deemed sexist or racist you will almost certainly suspend whilst investigated to be certain that your investigation is deemed to be fair.

If nothing much, then an apology and a letter on file will be all it needs.....

It could of course be nothing like that, they are just recent examples we have had at work that caused people to be suspended...

Suspect thats this one you refer to :-

Charlie Walden @WallySpire · 20m
Regarding the James Rowe situation: spoke to a credited person just before the announcement. This is what he/she said: “I won’t go into specifics but this has been coming for a while now. James’s lack of decorum and respect for certain members of staff is clear.” Shouldn’t expect anything further until after Eastleigh game in terms of announcements and decisions but, no doubts Danny Webb is more than capable. #Spireites

Alan Biggs @AlanBiggs1 · 9m
Ditto. Worryingly, I’ve heard similar noises for some time. Not surprised based on those, but this situation is a great shame. Hope it doesn’t derail the season.

I suppose the issue is that we may have to be more severe than how other clubs deal with things due to being a charitable trust etc....not sure if we have to be seen to be dealing along different lines whereas other clubs with less to answer to make brush it under the carpet a bit after a slap on the wrist!

The problem is, Rowe has form for that type of behaviour. If he is treating people badly then get rid. It will happen again. And I say this as a massive fan of his and I'll be gutted to lose him.

Football seems to be different…an awareness course and a pay off for the other party with an NDA.

Let's be fair, this board has been full of pretty mundane stuff since the Chelsea game....at least this has brought it back to life

Keeps those little staggies & the Shaymen entertained i bet hahahaha (don't worry lads & lasses, hard not to laugh with you <with head in hands>)

Proper soap opera this club isn't it!! FFS

It will all be a psychological plan to derail our promotion rivals into thinking we are in turmoil hahahaha

You've got to laugh, or you'll end up crying!

Surprised, erm NO!!!

Disappointed given the on pitch progress, YES

Correct decision by the Football Club, TOO RIGHT, to look into any allegations

Time to approach Boreham Wood again, but this time for the manager.

Don’t know if it has anything to do with the video at Maidenhead during our free kick. Can clearly hear him call someone a ‘ a little fing C***’ and ‘threatens to bite there nose off’ not sure whether this is to a fan or member of staff but he does try to get them to repeat whatever they said ‘in there’ which could be the dressing room, indicating the latter. Clutching at straws to who it was said too, but that video is clearly him

Being slightly fair he was found to have acted inappropriately 7 years ago at West Ham that led to him having training to do things better and he's been in various positions with it not happening again or at least not happening again to the point of being investigated again whilst being in numerous different roles in different places.

Most winners get bad press about their behaviour, whether its Lewis Hamilton, Novak Djokovic, Alex Ferguson etc etc

And we all need lessons in life to teach us where the boundaries are.

I once called my boss an idiot and avoided getting fired (you cant be fired for telling the truth so I said we would leave it to tribunal to decide...). Working for him was a bit challenging afterwards, didnt affect me but he seemed to think I'd got one over on him ;)

Need to get onto our promotion rivals forums to find out the truth or maybe in Scabsnet

If they come spouting morals perhaps a gentle reminder of the saga with that dick waving blubberman Evans may steady them down.

Then gain it's probably common practice over there so maybe not.

That is absolutely obscene and if that's how he carries on at Chesterfield then he has to go, no matter how good he is at his job.

Nah, obviously that doesn't look good but I can't imagine that warrants an investigation to this level.

That was aimed at the maidenhead fans I'm guessing behind the dugout? I know the are professionals but does make me laugh how someone in the crowd is free to shout whatever abuse they want at a fan but there is always uproar when a player or manager gives it back. Not defending rowe here as that doesn't sound great.
