Yep. He gets too involved and too enraged. Fairly easy to ignore or make light of when you're winning but it's not a good look. And now this. Eek.

I’ll just say I’ve had 3 texts from ex colleagues of mine (and JR’s) - at different times-at West Ham saying basically “told you so” :-(

If we sack him over this then the only person that the Trust will deem fit to rplace him with will be Mary Poppins.

I've heard much much worse from dug outs up and down the country.

It definitely is, its a threat to a person and could be reported to the police.

However, its probably one of those where the club will want to send out the right signal, an apology will work wonders, and he can be back on Wednesday.....

And just for the record if one of my team spoke like that and it was recorded whilst they were representing the company, they would also be suspended. Whether they got kept on would depend on whether they were apologetic enough, looked like they had learned a lesson - and whether they were good at what they did...

Don’t know if it has anything to do with the video at Maidenhead during our free kick. Can clearly hear him call someone a ‘ a little fing C***’ and ‘threatens to bite there nose off’ not sure whether this is to a fan or member of staff but he does try to get them to repeat whatever they said ‘in there’ which could be the dressing room, indicating the latter. Clutching at straws to who it was said too, but that video is clearly him

Having just watched the video I can’t see it being about anything other than that. Maybe that recording is the straw that broke the camels back. He doesn’t do himself any favours does he? Clearly him. It wouldn’t bother me like but in this day and age you’ve got to be careful what you say.

Perhaps there was a complaint fro Maidenhead, that would have to be investigated

If someone makes a complaint about an individual it is standard practice that they are suspended until the incident is investigated and a conclusion can be made.

Probably a 'plant' from Wrexham paid a bit of dosh to wind him up.

Let’s be honest, football might operate in a weird sphere where players can openly swear in referee’s faces with pretty much impunity, but threatening to bite someone’s nose off is a bit different.

Not sure if it’s to Maidenhead’s bench or some fans, but could easily have been reported to the police. Can’t operate like that as a manager of anything

That was aimed at the maidenhead fans I'm guessing behind the dugout? I know the are professionals but does make me laugh how someone in the crowd is free to shout whatever abuse they want at a fan but there is always uproar when a player or manager gives it back. Not defending rowe here as that doesn't sound great.

Surely it's aimed at someone on their bench. He wouldn't be more or less offering to fight them "in there" to a fan - it'll be one of their staff and he's asking for a square up in the tunnel or the dressing room.

Sheridan was terrible for this sort of thing and he was sacked by Notts County for an appalling (but also funny) tirade at a lineseman. We're all adults but there's a line and Rowe crossed it at Maidenhead big time.

But that would be Wednesday wouldn't it, surely they should have started the investigation then.
God I hate this league.

With him saying to someone, possibly a member of our staff, “I want to see him in there in one minute” it seems to signal it’s a player rather than anyone else.

Yea could be right. Isn’t this a second before King bags the free kick too?

Joshua Smith
@SmithJournalist
Important to remember this is under investigation, and none of this is intended as accusing or gospel, but I've received a huge amount of similar stories from numerous people over the last few months, spanning back to Pre Season.

Joshua Smith
@SmithJournalist
2 managers described James Rowe as 'The most arrogant' manager they'd ever come across in their careers.

Senior member of staff at the club once told me he often calls at silly o'clock demanding things 'throws his toys out the pram' if they say it'll keep til morning #Spireites

Joshua Smith
@SmithJournalist
Another account back at the start of the season, referred to Rowe as Jekyll & Hyde, in how he acts behind the scenes & infront of fans

A representative of Gloucester during their game at Alfreton this season wouldn't comment further, but said they were well rid of him #Spireites

Joshua Smith
@SmithJournalist

A member of #Spireites matchday staff has been in touch saying they've read my tweets (and many others) and can confirm many members of the clubs staff will sleep easier tonight, going so far as to describe James Rowe as a 'bully'. They say this has been coming for a long time.
