If you think they're funny, have a look at the Progression website: GiveUsYourMoneyYouMugsDotCom

As well as the amazing testimonials(!), the trial at Chelsea (they just happened to hire their ground - a bit like you can at the Proact), you see the same badly written English ...as if translated from Arabic - remember, I worked for 3 years in Dubai) as you do in the posts defending him on the scam exposure page.

I've also asked my coaching pals out in Dubai (Etisalat pro league and UAE national teams) about this guy, and they all said the same - "Who?".

This is the latest I've received from him (sent him a message after time link)

Mr craig, all you need to know that I'm taking this club forward and positive things happening. Can't have this every day

Can't explain and have long conversations with you regarding the same matter all the time. In the meantime just hear on what will happen at

The club

Good night

He's taking 'this club forward'?

I wouldn't trust him with Newbold Club's meat raffle.

i will refer back to my post on the 21st july...

The sports company that Kuwait guy runs in London looks exactly like most of the parasitic football crock of crap that thinks it can get contracts for vulnerable impressionable muppets who believe they are Messi told they are Messi but whose bank accounts or parents bank accounts get drained of cash...loads of them emerging and the coaching is 90% garbage.

It's funny reading the comments below the statement from the guy who was on about the training pitch. From supposed English named people, they don't half type like Middle Eastern people.

I wait with baited breath.

I really hope the club have not been scammed here, all the signs point to it but surely successful businessmen and CEOs of multi-million pound companies wouldn't be taken in by such charlatans... would they?

I'm sure CT is fully aware of the situation, certainly one of the directors is and assures me it'll be addressed and sorted today.

It's like speaking to an overseas call centre and the guy/girl is called Dave/Jane yet clearly have never been out of Asia let alone to the UK.

Club have made a statement on the club website which states the following :-

Following speculation relating to the ownership of Chesterfield FC on social media, the club can confirm that informal discussions have taken place with Abdullatif Alnassar.

Mr Alnassar made an approach to club chiefs with a proposal to attract investment from overseas. In order to further the progression of the club, any potential investment plan will always be explored.

Following the conclusion of the initial talks, no further negotiations will be held with Abdullatif Alnassar, who has no connection with the club in any capacity.

Basically some nutter in the middle east trying to get involved. He hasn't because he hasn't got any money.

Sadly these are the pitfalls of sourcing finance from these "sheik" types.

Honestly though, looking at Cardiff / Leeds etc, would anyone really want one of these "eccentric" foreign owners?
