Arsenal have donated £50k to Sutton United's Community Fund to build new classrooms.

It's probably only what they received from tv coverage, but a decent gesture all the same.

Each club earns £247K for a live televised FA Cup 5th round tie

Saw something before the game that Sutton were hoping that Arsenal would donate the TV money, this is probably a compromise. Still I think Sutton have made the best part of 1.5 mill which is their wage bill for nearly 4 years.

Arsenal wanted to donate their share of the gate receipts etc but the FA stopped them saying it was against the rules. This is the workaround to that happening apparently. There will be lots of folk having a pop saying its a drop in the ocean for Arsenal etc but Sutton seem more than happy with what they have got from them on top of the cup run profits and Arsenal didnt need to do anything. Not seen anything about Burnley doing anything similar with Lincoln although thats not to say they havent.

If pointing out that Arsenal's donation is a 'drop in the ocean" is having a "pop", may I be the first to have "pop"
