We wish you well in your other investment opportunities" Carsons words.

And, where does it say in that AC statement £10m was turned down?

Stockholm spireite "Swedes bid £10M. Upfront. One off payment."

Carson "Allen does not think the starting point or final bid is worth consideration"

So if they bid £10M it's surely the bid that was turned down? It's can't be that difficult to put together surely?

Blimey. It's not difficult you know.

Stockholm spireite "Swedes bid £10M. Upfront. One off payment."
Allen "does not think the starting point or final bid is worth consideration"

I think he's saying that AC & DA never confirmed the figure.

Sadly you are correct, AC initially denied all knowledge to me of such a bid, only remembering when he read that SS was quoting from his response.

I wonder why the club wants to weave such a tangled web over events

The more I think about it DA only wants to sell to people he would like to think he can manipulate in any discussions

He obviously knew that with Swedish consortium this would definetly not be the case hence the dismissive reply that AC finally remembered giving to Stock Spireite

They also said, a few times, that no bids had been received. When exposed for the lie it is, Carson says "No bids of £15M have been received"

I know who I believe, and it's not the man from Sheffield

On the basis that will cost us around £3M, £18M? As that seems to be the way our owner works.

So season ticket sales drop off the edge. Interest in CFC falls away. DA decides to sell up to a developer. The only people with the asking price. We don't enter the league next season. Game set and match to the man with the pigeons. Wonder what happened to the Harris Hawk

He can't sell to a developer as he doesn't own the caveat on the ground.

A sad state of affairs. Can't see him selling to a developer - really don't think his mind works like that.

As above he can't sell the land to a developer, it reverts to Wilson Bowden under their covenant.

At the AGM it was said a couple of tentative offers had been received but when asked for proof of funding nothing further was forthcoming.
