John looked devastated today and it was aweful to see him look so heartbroken, we didn't find out until ht.God Bless Her, Sharon could always be heard every home game giving the ref, Opposition Manager and a few of our players who were under performing a right rousting. We'll all miss this special lady in the West Stand who loved her beloved Team and no doubt her husband. Rest in Peace Sharon and keep shouting down from heaven to cheer the Blues on.
God Bless and comfort John and give him the strength to carry on, All Spireites have you in their thoughts.

I didn't know about this tragic news until this morning. I used to work in the same office as Sharon in the mid 80's and still saw her occasionally at work in Chesterfield when I was visiting there. If there was 5 minutes spare we would put all things CFC related to rights; I had no idea that Sharon was poorly.

Sharon carried out one of the most difficult roles in the administrative side of safeguarding children. She did this to a high standard, with great integrity and professionalism, and she will be sorely missed.

John has lost not only his wife but his best friend and my thoughts are with him and their families at this most difficult of times.

Paul.

I found put about this at quarter to 11 Saturday evening

I am so so very deeply Sorry for John , who I have known for 43 years and as Forevablue put John has lost not only his wife but his best mate . .

Sharon was a lady ,just as much as John is a Gentleman , I cannot believe she ever in her life wronged anybody

My thoughts remain with John Alan Linda who have lost a simply lovely lovely wife/sister ... my Daughter loses a Wonderful caring GodMother
